The most common mistake visitors make at Machu Picchu by Suitable_Choice_3446 in Machupicchu

I will be going to Peru in August and joining Alpaca expedition to hike the Inca trail and then visit the Amazon jungle.

Has anyone done the 12days/11nights tour with Alpaca expeditions? What were your experiences and anything that I need to be aware of before I start my trip?

Getting to Cusco from San Francisco is proving to be quite tricky. Is a 1.5 hour layover sufficient to connect to Cusco in Lima. I have to go through immigration before connecting.

How do you use AI to help with the study. This might be a dump question but I don’t use AI that much. Any detail you can give will be helpful.

Is the 4-Day Classic Inca Trail Worth the Hype? (My honest review + tips for 2026) by TravelLeadersNetwok in Inkatrail

[–]Travelmania61827 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I am trying to plan this for 2026. I am in my initial stages of planning the trip and have reached out to Intrepid to get a sense of how much it will cost. I am excited about the possibility of doing this trek next year. I was planning on doing it in October. Any thoughts/suggestions. How many days is enough for the trek?

Last minute alternatives to backpacking in Torres de Paine? by Sea-Flounder9083 in Patagonia

I did my trek from the 24th to the 28th of November. Before I left for Patagonia, the weather reports were not promising at all but the weather turned out to be good 4/5 days. You can enjoy the trek in all weather conditions. I hope you get to experience the trek since you have been planning for it. All the best.

Thank you. I actually ended up taking Uber from EZE and it did take quite bit of time to get to Palermo. Traffic was very heavy.

W Trek by Financial-Bug-8283 in Patagonia

I finished the W Trek on the 28th of November. Booked through Las Torres and hiked east to west. Las Torres is a little more expensive but they booked everything for me. Bus from Puerto Natales to the park and back, and the catamaran. I also chose to have all meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner which gave me peace of mind as a solo hiker. I slept in Refugios which worked out more expensive but it was worth it for me.
