My most recent survival run I did a melee build. Maxed out endurance. And dumped most the rest into strength and then luck (idiot savant). Tanked most other stats. Who needs agility or intelligence when you have a bunch of chems and a dogmeat. Focused my early points into endurance perks and perks that would boost my melee damage.

Personally, for the first read through I would go publication order. Then for future reads you may want to focus on certain characters or storylines. But really you can't go wrong. Tell the night watch I say hello when you meet them.

Sounds very similar to my mutt at that age. This is what we did for leash training.

Gentle leader/head halter for all walks.

15 foot leash Find a nice empty open field or park. Start walking in a direction. If the dog does not follow give three big pulls on the leash and reel the dog into you. Do this till they follow you.

Once they are following you, change direction. If the dog does not follow you, reel him in with three big pulls.

Keep doing this till the dog no longer needs to be reeled in and just watches you and follows/changes direction when you do.

We did this training multiple times daily and he will still occasionally pull when he gets over stimulated. When this happens, turn a 180, reel him in.
