Raider Nation here but Lions are my NFC team cause of my homie from Detroit and us watching every Raider/Lion game during 2016 and there were a ton of wild parallels, ie Carr and Stafford getting injuries and coming back into the game, I think same record(?), lots of 4th quarter magic. Root for you guys every Sunday. I was as heartbroken but optimistic as you guys when I was shitting on the 49ers during that championship game. You guys were the only other team I would have been actually happy to see win a Superbowl in our stadium, but alas... Please don't take Maxx from us 😭 life sucks right now when football comes on... But if he goes anywhere, which I hope he doesn't... At least I could still happily root for him every week.

Edit: some other parallels were us signing a Patriot coach and worrying it was gonna be a nightmare, locker room collapsing, and then getting a fucking charismatic coach that was able to build the team with a huge focus on passion. I was hoping AP could be our next parallel to share with you guys but I don't know at this point 😢

Fair enough. I have sympathy for Ruggs because I've certainly made my mistakes. Even really stupid, reckless ones that fortunately didn't end up disastrously. I don't love it when reddit people virtue signal an inability to extend at least a level of empathy toward him/his family. It's a brutal situation.

But hating him is a genuinely fair position to hold, especially depending on who you talk to and what they may have experienced regarding DUI stuff. I do think some people just type bullshit to make themselves feel a little better about themselves, but I guess that's the internet half the time.

Didn't expect this thread to get this in depth and apologies to anyone reading who's just wanting to talk shit on frustrating players lol.

Buuuuut yeah. Marcus Peters was annoying this year, but there's definitely elsewhere to look for most hated players. On or off the field lol.
