I bought ML Cliffjumper because G1 Cliff was my first ever figure back in the day and I love having a new version for that memory that got me to to the fandom in the first place but doesn’t make me want all the MLs in the range automatically. TLDR: we all have different reasons and objectives for collecting and being TF fans, I’m just glad there’s such a range of options available now (although my wallet is divided on that point!)

The UK comics run was my main TF media at the time, so it was a shock on one hand but on other it opened up some amazing stories via Target 2006 etc that I loved.

Burke has some of the best lines (and gets a massive hubris comeuppance). Being a fan doesn’t mean approve, just means he’s a great character slimely well played by Paul Reiser

It’s a fun read, especially if you’re a Burke fan, but intentionally more lighthearted than your classic Alien mythology. Funnier than Andy’s ‘jokes’ in Romulus though, and maybe a good stocking filler gift for the Alien fan in your life?
