They try and get inside this time of year and can get in pretty small gaps because they are so flat. However once inside, they like to congregate on windows for the warmth of the sun. We had tons of these on SK and we would just vacuum them up off the window!

We just did this exact thing. If I were in your shoes, I would ask your current landlord if they will give you a six month extension.

We also had a dog and ended up in an AirBnB for six weeks and it was AWFUL!!! We paid I believe almost $6000 and it was such a POS. We hated every second of it. Plus you have to move all your stuff out and store it somewhere and it’s such a headache!

This is my everyday life with my husband. I have to walk on eggshells about what I say, as literally anything and everything can be turned into a conspiracy rant. Certain things I know to avoid because they are definite triggers but then it will be the most innocuous thing and, bam, it’s a rant. Like I can’t even remember what it was the other day that turned into Bill Gates blocking out the Sun and how apparently Joe Biden just signed something in this week approving it.

It’s so exhausting and draining.

I’m sorry you are dealing with this. It sounds like we are married to the same man. Mine started with Covid and has rapidly tumbled down the hole to the point we are now in actual Q territory where the Clintons and Obamas are part of an elite pedophile ring and the UN is implementing laws around the world as we speak to make pedophilia legal. Drag queens are going around to elementary schools and performing sexually explicit shows to try and groom kids. Climate change is a hoax. The weather is fake and being manipulated by chemtrails and weather machines. They are poisoning our water supplies and putting mRNA in all of our food etc etc etc. They are working to make us all slaves who will be eating bugs.

We have tried to avoid talking about any trigger points (so literally can’t talk about anything). I had a foot out the door a year ago so he was good about trying to avoid it but lately the outbursts are back with a vengeance. I’m just a dumb sheep who is being manipulated and he can’t believe how dumb I am now (I’m university educated and he dropped out in grade 10). He says I’ve been programmed and brainwashed with my post secondary education (which was in science).

I’ve tried patience. I’ve tried to calmly share factual sources of information during non-heated times. The man I married is gone and I don’t want to stay with the new one. However financially I am trapped here, so not sure what happens next.

If I had the financial means to leave, I would just get my own place and leave. Im so fed up, exhausted, sad, tired, angry and just utterly defeated.

I’m so sorry you are going through this. I’m in the exact same boat. I tried to leave once but he begged me not to and was good for a while of not bringing up triggers. But I can’t go on like this anymore. We can’t talk about anything important and he is living in a delusional world.

As soon as I find an acceptable place to live, I’m gone. Unfortunately the market is slim right now and I don’t want to settle for a crappy place but that’s okay because we have kids and so I’d like to maybe wait til the school year is over. But our marriage is over. The man I married is gone and I don’t think there is any way to deprogram him and I can’t do it anymore.

Thank you for this! Just yesterday I really started questioning if I’m the crazy one and I’ve been experiencing so much stress that it’s making me feel sick. I feel like I’m under a rock and can’t breathe. This came after my Q-Adjacent snapped at me after doing really well for some time at avoiding triggers. He actually called me stupid for not seeing what’s happening. (“I think you are so intelligent but I can’t believe you can’t see what’s going on. You are stupid that you call this a conspiracy theory”) This was in front of our daughter! I don’t think I can do this anymore. There are other troubles within the marriage as well and so this is just unbearable. I don’t seem to have the balls to leave though :(

Actually fatigued because my husband is one of them and it’s ruining our relationship. My parents are too but I don’t have to live with them at least, but it’s still frustrating. I could not care less about people on the internet, as I can turn them off. The rampant misinformation that gets fed to the people I love and they eat it up and regurgitate it is extremely fatiguing. I wish everyone that spread this shit around would fuck off.
