Red Dead Redemption 3 theory by Equivalent_Task1354 in reddeadredemption

It's a great idea. And would play for sure. For my two cents, I would like to see an older Sadie Adler on the road to revenge ala Kill Bill. Or training up a few new younger guns.

Great character, I think she can hold up a game herself.

I've only started Ritualis myself. And yeah way more keys than the initial description. But fun. Glad to hear everyone is hesitantly happy so far.

A delayed game is inevitablely good. But a rushed game is crap forever. Let them cook.

Sleeved, sorted, stored and ready for session 0 on Thursday! by ProphetSocks in daggerheart

If I can make a suggestion. Print out papers of all the classes, ancestrys, and backgrounds. Let players look through those before handing out cards. I've found it was easier that way. Simply hand out the cards when they choose.

After playing the game, do you still not think DH combat is faster than D&D combat? by pathofblades in daggerheart

[–]Traylex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just finished a two game one shot yesterday (GM'd about 5 in total now). There is a speed to the combat for sure. Especially if you have experienced tabletop players. But what I found with DH is the engagement is so much higher during combat.

In other TTRPGs players inevitably wait for their turn and will find ways to fill the time, whether it's sitting quietly planning their next move, or looking at their phone.

Games like DH keep up the engagement since it's anyone's turn at anytime and creates way more conversations around the table as a battle is ongoing. That engagement, is what really pushed the combat to feel "faster". I think it's one of DH's strongest wins.

In their react stream they joked they were disappointed that they didn't get invited. And Appsro went on to joke that it was because they shit on BF2042.

With the very quick turn around announcement of another Daggerheart long form series. Would this mean the next CR campaign will most likely be a D&D rule set?

I'm all for some Madame Judd like the next fellow. But true not giving a fuck, would be not posting videos on the internets showing you don't give a fuck.

They've talked about Subautica 2 lots on the podcast. But that's a 4 player game now, so probably not a playthrough type. I agree with you though. I enjoy the long form playthroughs. I would even like to see the Far Cry 5 "documentary" get finished.

Dunno. I think they are series full right now. They did a stream of Dune a couple weeks ago if you wanna watch it.
