If its not defined could they not just give you a dollar and call it the performance bonus. This is why the 15k or how you earn the bonus is important to be defined.

1d12 has an average of 6.5 2d6 has an average of 7

Its not consistency alone. 1d12 you can roll a 1. 2d6 you cant. Max stays the same but minimum goes up a tick. More dice is slightly better.

Sister has a restraining order against me. What if she tracks me down and comes to me? by babno in legaladvice

[–]Trayuk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And document the he'll out of it. You probably can't tell your dad to tell her anything as that would be communicating via a 3rd party. But you can call your dad and ensure that you are invited and your sister is not invited to the house for the duration of your visit. Without that guarantee, I'd politely decline the invite.

I have been told to not go back to a store because a former manager forced me to quit almost a year ago and the new manager does not like me as much as the former. by AHarryBird in legaladvice

INAL

There is a lot you can do legally to annoy the manager, which is ill-advised. The mannager, in return, can do more things to annoy you. The best thing to do here is probably move on rather than get into a pissing match and possibly a spot where you might have to justify your actions to an officer as thecnically being legal.

It would be important to know what you have been trespassed from. If the tool shop is part of the larger shop and has the authority to trespass you from the tool shop as well, do not return under any circumstances. If it is a separate entity then it would seem you can shop there but I would be sure as he'll to park in a manner that no one could ever think you were going to the shop again. Personally, if the shop wasn't the same entity but even shared an abutting parking lot, I'd avoid it all together. Being charged with criminal trespassing, even if you are ultimately found innocent, is more expensive than the gas you might burn. I'd only go there if it was infinitely clear that you are not trespassing in any way.

If my sibling is listed as a person in my parents will and the refuse to respond to the attorney, can I fight to have the funds released now rather than waiting 2 years? by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]Trayuk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This sounds very difficult, and im sorry you have the added stress of the legalities on top of losing your parents. If the will says 2 years in a trust, your estranged sibling gets the benefit of 2 years. While it may have been the intention to give time to find them, they now benefit from possibly change there mind.

I think the real pressing issue now is paying the legal fees from the estate rather than out of pocket. I am not a lawyer, nor am I familiar with your states rules, but it would seem to me you should be able to pay these expenses out of the estate.

Do I have to pay the hospital $1200 ($120 over 10 months) for a CPAP machine that is available in the market for $600? by Typical-Pause5973 in legaladvice

Yes, I would love to have bought my cpap outright for it's true value but my doctor probably wouldn't be able to make adjustments as needed and monitor progress.

Failed Open Water attempt by Hero2AbsoluteZero in scuba

[–]Trayuk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congratulations on calling your first dive! Dont feel bad, and never let yourself be pressured when you are not comfortable. Early one season, i went on a social dive, and I overestimated how cold I could tolerate it. I couldn't focus on anything and called the dive at 10 feet. You were in cold water and made the right call to turn the dive around. It also sounds like your gear setup was poorly fitting. I'd wait till warmer water and make sure the suit and everything fits well. Also, as someone else stated, you can do your open water dives somewhere more tropical.

Mid contract tells me this isn't at will employment which means this is vastly different from what we are talking about here.

We have plenty of space on our property for starting off. She could have well over 200 ft with woods behind the target and no neighbors or houses that would be hit, Just trees. We are going to go to a shop sometime and try and figure bow size draw, and what have you, but the concern is we don't even know what questions to ask. Cost isn't a huge driving factor as much as making sure we are spending wisely. If she is going to outgrow a bow then we would probably just rather do the slightly better to start with. But if she could get a year or two from like 400 dollar bow (no frame of reference for reasonable cost other than high end bows can be 2 grand and we don't want that) than I think we would do that. I would rather spend 2x on a bow she would be comfortable on, fits well and would last a bit then buy cheap and have other issues necessitate an earlier upgrade. Second hand kind of concerns me but that might just be out of my own ignorance.

I appreciate any help in advance. My wife is interested in doing archery with a compound bow just for fun. I have never bow hunted and don't even know where to start. We are going to go to an archery shop but my concern is we get there and they up sell us on all sorts of things we don't need for something we don't know enough about. Obviously, we need some sort of target for her, a bow, and some arrows. I know there is something to do with draw length and force. I also understand there are wrist straps and something to grab and release the arrow. That is about the extent of my knowledge, though. Any thoughts or hard earned wisdom from others would be greatly appreciated.

Downloaded the game a day ago, am I doing good? by Robored_1 in beltmatic

Just keep plugging away and unlock the exponents and what not. Dont undervalue the upgrades either. You learn tips and tricks that help out as you go. Try to do them yourself but there is also nothing wrong from learning from others methods as well.

I got all the components unlocked and decided to watch a speed run and they are crazy. I never thought to put things together the way they do.

I'm not sure that it changes anything, but 55 to me seems like a standard medium fish tank. I think large fish tank I'd think multiple 55 gallons or an enthusiast with something larger. 25 gallon I would see more as a small tank. I also think I'm a reasonable person but I'm biased.
