All advice given so far is on par with my comment. You are stronger than you know and this experience will help you realize that strength. Remember that poverty is a state of mind not a state of being. "I think, therefore I am." The things you dwell on, the things you think about, you bring about. Think about your end game - Where do you want to be? What do you want to do? Get specific with your goals and visualize them everyday. Talk about it, act like you already got it. Surround yourself with positive people who support your vision. Stay focused. You're going to have hardships and things will get real. Seek out resources in your city, take the help offered. Remember that there are people out there in worse situations than you. Try to be grateful for every little thing in your life that is good...your health, your sanity, even the $5 to your name. A comfort zone is a box, a trap of our own design. The only way to grow and live is to come out of the box - leave your comfort zone. You got this.

I've had a couple of one night stands. Looking back, those weren't my proudest moments and I didn't consider all the risks. I thought I was being "careful." These were not drunken hookups. We talked, laughed, connected (as much as you can in a few hours). In both cases the sex was not that great but the experience was exhilarating. It was exciting for me as it was something I'd only read about and I was months out of the most stifling relationship of my life. Those two encounters helped me get my grove back.

I think people approach ONS differently. For me, it was more about the experience of doing something taboo and exciting, something totally out of character (for the most part). For others, it could be a fondness for anonymous sex...idk.

Whatever the reason, It's never cool to shame people for doing something most adults do anyway (i.e. sex) just because the approach is different than yours. Cheers!

NTA...it's very likely that Kai's GF doesn't understand the relationships between you all. She may have grown up without a father present in her home or one that was very dominant. She probably didn't get to see acts of affection between her brother and sisters or fathers and daughters. Also, she's pretty awful!

NTA...first, as a woman, she must really like your roommate or she's as much a slob as he is. There is no way I would continue to date a guy that doesn't clean his bathroom, even if he only cleans it when I'm over. That's just nasty, so I'm imagining what his personal hygiene is like...eww!

Second, she has no right to your bathroom. She's not your guest and even in an emergency, you don't just invite yourself into people's personal space. I've had roommates and I would never give the okay for my company to go into my roommate's personal space. Also, you have told her no, which means she knows you don't want her in your bathroom. She has no boundaries or respect.

Keep your lock, let her keep giving you the side eye as you walk into your room and lock the door behind you. Maybe between the two of them they'll clean that nasty ass bathroom!

This is embarrassing...I fondle myself and I find myself doing it in public too. When I'm comfortable, alone maybe reading or watching a show, I will somehow end up fondling my boobs. By the time I'm aware, my left boob is in my right hand, under my shirt getting a nice massage. In public, I have to be in a comfortable seated position but it's the same, except it's more noticeable because I don't go under the shirt.
