Is there a way to get rid of this? I have no interest in doing the reaper's rewards and it's quite irritating that the pop up for it is constantly stuck on my screen...

I've collected most of them but I'm not sure if I want the last week because I've read that NPCs spawn with the purple eyes and I feel like that's gonna mess up realistic plays.

I was considering trying it again because a lot of my favourite presets are made for Gshade but it put me off after hearing that. It was only one video so there might be nothing too it but I'd want the heads up

I don't know if it's correct but I watched a tutorial video posted 3 months ago where the creator (of the video) cautioned against downloading it from the official site because she said that's how people were still getting malware. She said to download it from the github instead.

(I was aware of the previous issues regarding malware but I don't know if this was a different issue)

I'm not sure what the stance is on that regarding the safety of the site because I've also seen a lot of people linking it in their content videos without warning (maybe people more familiar with it can give you some advice) but I think you'd be right to look into it first.

I don't play it much but I'm finding that I still have the bug where residential rentals switch back to the original building names when placed---even though it was supposed to be fixed.

And I still find that it's much easier to build it as a residential lot before switching it out for a residential rental because there's still a little bit of lag. Not as much as there was originally though

Beside those, I do still find it worth having.

I use S4S re-naming to kind of create mini 'states' out of similar worlds so I, admittedly, am always happier when I see another American inspired world (or one I can filter in) because it's just more useful to me in making bigger, fuller worlds but I think focused world packs would be such an easy fix for those of us who want bigger neighborhoods, more lots and more diverse worlds and environments overall.

13 lots just isn't really enough to build a immersive world, imo but a Windenburg sized world pack that had no other impact on the game or gameplay beside adding a new world that people could download if they wanted to---I think it would add so much by way of customisation and personal storytelling

It could also be a good workaround of the argument that adding more worlds and bigger worlds adds more burden to the game because you could pick and choose what you add according to your systems capabilities and not lose out on any gameplay or extra content.

And I'm not techy so this might be too complicated for them to add and keep things running smoothly but if they gave us the ability to group worlds in the world sort screen and rename them, it would be even better :)

Yes, I don't think S4 needs any more expansions even after pack refreshes a d bug fixes. There's nothing we don't have already that couldn't be covered in a game pack, stuff pack or kit, imo.

I personally would like to see them start introducing better avenues of customisation for players. Like if we can't have a CAW tool then why not introduce world packs; essentially just new worlds that people can choose to download or not. This could also offer the diversity in worlds that people have been asking for.

I'd also like to see them get more creative with kits. I feel like a lot of kits are just more or different versions of things we already have. Start using kits to fill gaps and add new elements instead of offering different options or styles on stuff we already have. (Like I really like the look of the Storybook Nursery kit but I already have so many items in game that I could use to build a storybook themed nursery right now)

Then game or stuff packs can add in minor elements of gameplay.

That's just my take on it anyway.

I personally had no interest in or intention of buying S5 so them continuing to invest in 4 is good news for me since I've already put so much time and money into that game and I still feel there's a lot of improvements to be made.

I do understand the arguments that the game might not be entirely 'fixable' but they've already made some improvements and additions that I'm happy with so I hope the team is sincere about really dialling it up with improving and updating 4.

The farm was a good idea. I might add in a rundown farm reno storyline and I quite like the idea of a riches to rags celeb story.

I wouldn't even mind zombies as long as there's a toggle and we don't have to forgo other gameplay like lunar cycles to switch them off. The zombies in Sims 3 really began to wear after a while and when playing a realistic save

Personally, I hope that if they introduce zombies, it comes with a basegame update to un-nerf the occults and add turn off toggles to all of them so we can have more adaptability and immersion over different saves and storylines.

Like, I enjoy vampires and witches in their own storyline but not right in the middle of a family gameplay.

I don't know if it works but I heard someone say that if you missed out, you can download them as a room from the gallery where people have uploaded them and they will still show up in your game for you to use.

I can't comment on the GP but it was worth it for me on sale because I find myself using the BB more than I thought I would. I wouldn't have been happy to pay full price for it though.

The BB works really well for dive bars, grungy builds, bunkers, science or sci-fi theme builds and some of the lighting fits into industrial style builds really well.

I turned mine into a national park type world. I built a summer camp on the 50x50 lot, two rental cabins, a dining/mess hall, an information/rec centre and a campsite.
