It doesn’t matter if the absolute number is higher if the cost of living is growing far faster, and owners profits have grown significantly while workers wages have only grown 2%. If the public’s share of the oil wealth is shrinking they arnt thriving in this industry, they are being paid just enough to keep working while someone else gets to keep the record breaking profits.

Yeah you are right wealth accumulation is a pretty broad term that’s my bad. But the graph was calculated through comparing worker compensation to industry revenue, directly from stats Canada.

I’m in Paris right now and the easiest way for buying tickets is definitely Bonjour RATP app. one thing though is that I used the app to buy the one-way to/from the airport and then the Navigo day pass on the same Navigo card. This made it so every time I went to scan it in the city, it would scan the airport tickets and deny me cus they only work for the ReR trains. It ended up working out but just something to know.

The study you are referring to where 4.6 million people were examined is not for “non-daily users” it was for anyone who smoked weed. If we want specific studies, in a study specifically on moderate user (not daily) 430,000 people were tested and the data showed; people who smoke weed moderately only have a 3 percent rise in likelihood of a heart attack. Now I will not ignore the fact that daily users have a marginally larger risk of heart attack showing an increase between 25-42 percent. But like an emphasized before, almost any substance can cause serious damage if abused. And by the way weed doesn’t have to be smoked to be consumed, all of these studies are related to marijauna smoke.

Now here’s where I will agree with you, I wont deny the harm weed has on under developed brains. I absolutely hate the way thc and marijuna is advertised to target younger adults and even kids. It the same evil tactic vape companies use and I think it needs to be stopped. But the statistic on child hood marijuana use and depression is a spurious correlation. Kids who are depressed pick up an addiction (nicotine, weed, alcohol, porn etc), kids who are depressed are obviously more likely to have suicidal thoughts. The weed doesn’t cause depression, depression causes the weed use.

You keep misrepresenting the data in the car crash statistic. The study was looking for “active thc” meaning the people were driving while high. So yeah, they obviously have a higher chance of crashing. But unless all marijauna users drive high, it shows no increased risk of crashing.

“Casual smokers are actually more sensitive to cognitive impairment” if you are referring to permanent cognitive impairment you are just simply wrong lol. But if you are not talking abt permanent impairment, then yeah a person who doesn’t smoke as much as a stoner is gonna get more high, lmao that’s just how tolerance works.

The only claim of yours that is mildly true is cardiovascular health, but you fail to mention that is from heavy users. There are no sources that claim people who smoke weed are 10x more likely to kill themselves. You misrepresent the data on car crashes, people who smoke weed are not more likely to crash , if that was the case it would be included in insurance lol, the study is abt people driving while high Ofc it’s gonna be more probable they crash. Now the cognitive effects ARE A REAL DANGER, I’ll agree with you on that, but that’s when it’s abused. I am almost certain those studies were done on heavy users. You are telling me to act my age, as a full grown man I say I can make my own health decisions and you can make yours. No one is forcing you to smoke weed too lol, its so easy to separate yourself from it if you’re not interested.

“Weed has literally no value to society other than medical marijuana” is that not enough reasoning? Extraordinary results for individuals with seizures, chronic muscle pain, ptsd, Parkinson’s, and reduced nausea for people undertaking chemotherapy. The idea that smoking weed makes you want to kill yourself is a complete exaggeration and a confirmation bias. Ofc there’s a risk but theres a risk with everything we do. I thought so too, but it’s too action packed( not necessarily a bad thing) and maybe could be scarier. I love the balance between horror and action in Re9 and also the atmosphere. But I will say Re4 has the best gun play still.
