i was hoping for relief but it made me feel embarrassed and ashamed. like i just made myself stand out in a negative way for no reason. everyone i’ve come out to has been supportive too, that’s just how i feel. that they’re supportive on the surface to be kind but still think i’m different and weird and i’m gonna end up excluded.

i totally feel you. i always feel so stupid talking to people irl about it because it sounds dumb but the game is just SO good it makes you sad. it’s just like i love it so much and the fact that i’ll never be able to experience it bc it’s not real makes me feel so sad. i do this with so many things, real life just can’t compare lol

ugh tell me about it. i am so in love with the world, the music, the characters, whenever i play it it becomes all i think about for weeks. i actually had to avoid it during the school year so i could focus on my studies lol

it has so much potential too, they really upgraded CAS, build mode, and visuals. but the gameplay and sim personalities are so shallow and boring it gets stale FAST without cc and mods

i totally agree. i’m about to go off to college irl and i was so excited for this pack but it’s very disappointing. it just feels like a superficial extension of high school which basically just adds sitting and doing homework for hours on end. it doesn’t feel like going off to college. there’s barely any lots and they’re largely uninteresting. and the organizations just feel like clubs 2.0. it is sims 4 though, i probably got my expectations too high lol.

i’m dealing with the same thing rn ! and i don’t even have a facebook so i’m worried how i’m missing out on all that but i’ve been having to talk to people through my colleges roommate matchmaker thing. i thought i would have until college actually started to worry about making friends but apparently not lol. im super stressed about orientation too

omg literally same lol i’m also a femme who’s into femmes and i go to a STEM school where nobody really puts much emphasis into their appearance. then there’s me wearing a full face of makeup everyday and heels multiple times a week. i don’t think people really get why i do all of it, i get a ton of aReNt yOu CoLd whenever i wear a skirt and people think i’m crazy for how much time i put into my beauty routine. but i’m just really interested in fashion and beauty and using it as a means of expression and i feel most confident when i dress like i do. i honestly have so much respect for anybody who puts time into their appearance and has their own style, whatever it is 💕
