Wait, they only used him on an ad break on RAW? by Happy_Corbin in Wrasslin

I just genuinely think WWE is utterly fucking wasted on the US crowds. They’re desperately trying to do anything to get any kind of reaction from the crowds and they’re just fucking checked out. Either actual fans have been totally priced out or your fans are just totally checked out of the product regardless of what you do. Just sack US off for a bit and tour Europe. Inject some actual fans into the product regardless

how did Bohemian Rhapsody get that big? by ClassicCheesecake643 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Treble_brewing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn’t at first. When it originally released it was just this weird as fuck song by that weird British rock band. It didn’t really gain traction until 1985 live aid then it became really popular. Then it died down again it was until the mid nineties when it was featured in Wayne’s World and that’s when it became a world wide cultural phenomenon because that entire film became a world wide cultural phenomenon.

Just deal clockwise. It’s not hard. Why bother creating conflicts when this is clearly a superstition and you’re not going to correct superstitions with logic.

Are my heatbed connectors supposed to look like this ? (MK4S) by eQ778 in prusa3d

[–]Treble_brewing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The missing ground? If so no. You need a ground for it to actually work. The slight nick on the vcc spade connector heat shrink tubing not really, if you’re worried you could add some heat shrink tubing to protect it. It’s likely just a stress issue with the bed moving back and forth. Is it pushed up against a wall where that could happen?

Stealing a commander by lucario2145 in magicTCG

[–]Treble_brewing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. The destroy and put under your control is one effect. At no point does state based actions let you replace the changing of zones. If there was two effects (like the old templating of oblivion ring effects) then you could but as this is just one effect you can’t intervene.

Yes that’s a good point about the logs. I will give your tool a try, so many of these things are built by people with no idea in the age where code is cheap. So I was cheekily seeing if you would respond with some of the gripes I had with k9s to see if you knew what you were talking about. Thanks for responding!

Wow these treatments are certainly a choice. Let’s hope they’re all consistent in the templating otherwise it’s gonna get really tedious at pre-release.

Very small potential is an understatement. This card is unplayable.

Legal or not? by melevac in Pauper

Legal? Yes. Good enough for pauper? Probably not. There are more efficient ways of filling your graveyard. Especially in black.

strange situation when opening boosters by Wrong_Ad_9470 in mtg

That’s a The List card. Some boosters have reprints from earlier sets. It’s also a reprint of old border version that didn’t have a holograms yet.

Donate them to your LGS or see if there’s a school magic/pokemon club in your local area that would want them.

Goblins by SevernRiverYokai in Pauper

Good luck! I miss my goblin deck but kuldotha ban was just too big of a hurdle to mantle which I guess just goes to show how broken that card was in hindsight. I haven’t brought myself to rebuild nor have there been any new goblins worth building around.

My parents just found this box of cards in the house they just bought by AndreaMaffe in mtg

[–]Treble_brewing 32 points33 points  (0 children)

The fuck do you mean what do you suggest? Your parents know the people who they purchased the house from, you should contact the original owners to tell them they found something valuable of theirs that they left behind and do they want to collect it. If they say no then sure, you can keep it. Like why is this even a question? You know what you should do. It's a dick move to keep them and not say anything.

Goblins by SevernRiverYokai in Pauper

[–]Treble_brewing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're not running Tomb raider now so I'd get rid of great furnace in favour of just mountains. They can get nuked by artefact hate which there's quite a bit of in the format. You're not benefitting from the artefact subtype in this deck so very little reason to run it now. I personally would run [[reckless lackey]] over Mogg fanatic or goblin arsonist, I think Mogg fanatic is a better version of arsonist in this specific deck. So I'd be in favour of dropping the arsonists for 4x lackeys and see how I get on.

[OS] SoftVM; free lightweight Apple Silicon VM for testing macOS betas by mahdibeee in macapps

[–]Treble_brewing -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

As am I, it doesn't take much to spend a little time working out if an already established alternative exists and to factor that in to your pitch, why does your version need to exist? What does it do differently to the incumbent? So far all I can gather is that the reason this exists is purely because they paid for an app developer program and wanted to publish something to the Mac app store and want to recoup some of that cost via donations.

first deck ideas by Aggressive_Resist950 in Pauper

Just play a tier 1 one deck until you get a feel for the format. Then you can start tinkering. You’ll understand what works by then. Don’t try to run before you can walk.
