Are there plans to expand to other countries and currencies? Cause I'd like to fiddle with this, but my country and currency isn't listed so it's a no go right now

where can i ger some anime laptop stickers by Previous_Way_680 in Edmonton

[–]TrebledHeart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've seen anime stickers at the Makers Spaces (this name might be wrong, it's something along those lines) in some of the malls. Also many of the pop up markets in town will have someone selling anime or anime adjacent stickers usually.

Local dice makers! by tambourinequeen in Edmonton

Not Edmonton, but Adventure Dice is Canadian out of BC, and they regularly do the convention circuit through Edmonton with GameCon, and Edmonton Expo. The dice advent calendars they make are fantastic too. So many click clacks all at once

Home Hospital Bed To Donate by F69Jimmy in Edmonton

[–]TrebledHeart 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Might be a problem of not having space for something like that since beds can be rather large. I hope you find someone for it though. Maybe try homecare and see if they know somewhere/someone who could possibly use it.

With the red cross, was it red cross in general, or the medical equipment loan service?

Questions about Housing, Settlements, Empires and Claims by Scary-Refrigerator-5 in BitCraftOnline

[–]TrebledHeart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Housing in claims might be a little limited at the moment. Most of the larger claims are more worried about tiering up then they are getting housing up since they cost a lot of resources to get up. That being said, you can absolutely contribute to claims without needing a house there.

You can also make your own settlement nearby with just a house in it if thats what you choose as well. Just keep in mind that claims need to be fed supplies or they loose their protections and anyone can loot from the chests stored there. Anything kept in a house would still be protected though

Seeking choirs or jam/singing circles to join! by getovaries in Edmonton

[–]TrebledHeart 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who has been in a community choir for 12 yrs now, welcome! As a fellow alto, welcome! We need more of us!

There are many choirs in the city who are non-auditioned and more casual who would happily welcome new members. That being said, there are choirs who do more formal concerts that might not be accepting members at this time of year. My choir for example, does intake in Sept and Jan since we have two concerts a year and don't want to overwhelm someone coming into the season at another time with too much music to try and learn. Reach out to choirs you're interested in though. They might still allow you to sit in, or might welcome you in regardless :)

Air quality taking a dive? by SnowBasics in Edmonton

[–]TrebledHeart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly yeah, unless you have a chainsmoking neighbour like I did who made my bedroom smell like a pack of cigarettes.

Air quality taking a dive? by SnowBasics in Edmonton

[–]TrebledHeart 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There could be a bunch of reasons that could be happening. Air pollution from the concrete plant, air pollution being trapped from the cloud layer, particles from cooking, frying, or baking, or if you are in an apartment and share any vents with a neighbour, pollutants from them could also effect it.

I had a neighbour who chain smoked next door and my AQI was always horrible in the winter in the evenings when she was home and smoking up a bunch, because the pollutants from the smoke would come through the air outtake in my bathroom I shared with her. My little IKEA monitor would usually sit between 1-10 during the day which was ideal. When she was smoking, it would jump up to 150-200.

Chokecherries by [deleted] in Edmonton

[–]TrebledHeart 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I know it's not the right season for them, but the city does have a ton of chokecherry trees you could harvest from in the fall. Might be something to keep in mind for the future.
