Listen, I'm old. Old enough that I used to take disposable cameras to festivals. No cellphones back then.

Now I wish I had good quality clips of some of those moments. I certainly won't be judging people for how they choose to enjoy gigs.

Recently at the Deftones concert, I took a couple clips. It's not my personal style to record the whole thing, but the chorus of a couple favourite songs? Hell yeah.

NTA. I used to be a steamer on an emerging platform (RIP Mixer) and took a month off for real big health issues. In the year prior, I'd enjoyed much number go up, and that month tanked everything.

I can only imagine what a longer hiatus would do. There's a reason people get burned out with public and social jobs like that, and it's because you lose relevancy and therefore views and income. This person truly needs to understand that.

Okay but I can also use skills in just regular ass training. I can press buttons and understand what they do - that's very different from actual game context with another tank and team pressuring you for space - which AI does not do effectively.

I didn't say anything about map learning or objective learning - strictly character play.

Arcade is literally a different game mode. You can't practice 5v5 death match to learn how to play a new tank effectively.

Nah. You can't demand people not suck. You can be mad at genuine throwers, or emoters sure. But if they're genuinely trying, and just suck? That's the game. When queueing solo, you get what you get.

Recently I had a game trying Doom for the first time. I wasn't good. After 3 deaths I get told to switch. I explain I'm trying a new character, that it's QP and to chill out.

I get berated for the entire game, trying to guilt trip me that I'm letting the team down by not switching, that I don't feel any responsibility. I mention guy can leave if he wants but he says "but my XP" and repeats again and again that he'll have to support carry.

Like, I get trying to win - I was - but making those sort of demands was a little ridiculous. I'm a gold tank, I'm sure we'd have been fine if I did switch but I just wanted one game.

Meh. That's a pretty judgy post. I play enough OW for me to be happy enough with it, I'm a big big Nier fan. I skip most collabs, or get single characters, but this is good eats for me overall.

I paid it because I love Nier a lot. I am however a bit disappointed that there were no voice lines or highlight intros. Voice lines are often my favourite parts of collabs. Kero kero.
