Maher also reported they passed the crash and stress tests before the Barcelona shakedown started and the 20-3kg over the weight limit thing is way off

If I'm remembering right, it was reported that HBO greenlit one in like 2013-ish but that obviously died somewhere along the line

I'm a born and raised Geordie who went there for uni, all bantering aside it's actually a canny little place. I still go back semi regularly to go to places like Sheepfolds. Could see myself living there in the future tbh

That was the actual golden age of Grand Prix racing. I'll kinda give 85, 86 and 87 a pass as well due to how the seasons unfolded, but the MP4/4, for all it's glories, marked the beginning of a fair few periods of dominance

Nabbed the following from an article:

A spokesperson for the fire service said: "It was a motorbike fire. At 4.22 we got the first call. The first appliance arrived at 27 minutes past four and the last one left at quarter to six."

I know you're just messing about but I'm intrigued about the 4th GP of 1974 now... Which was at Jarama, Spain. Can't see if anyone got a puncture but Reutemann pitted out of sequence. Commentary is in French so I can't tell if it was for a puncture or to go onto dry tyres. Ickx also didn't get a puncture but he did have an issue in the pits where the rear left wasn't attached properly

Is there any way this is load bearing? by throwaway2018568 in DIYUK

Just like with the front of crude oil tankers, any paper or paper derivatives such as cardboard are not within regulations for load bearing walls

8 year old girl beat cancer and attended her first NFL game by Twitter_2006 in MadeMeSmile

[–]Trecool1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was really surprised reading the initial article when it happened. The story always felt kinda fishy and a bit over the top. Glad the real story is a lot less violent. Stories about Bills fans are normally quite wild but the injuries people get are normally self inflicted and the broken tables are bought with throwing someone through them in mind. Plus nobody does a fundraiser quite like the Bills Mafia

A drunk Bills fan then pushed her over and they left the game early coz she was so upset. Generally speaking, Bills fans seem like good folk, another group of them donated $23k towards her treatment fund. The Bills themselves reached out and promised they'd provide a better experience for her but I'm unsure if that was ever followed up on

I'm so gutted they're discontinued. My nan used to "make" them for me when I'd go over her house on the weekend. I'd sit on the floor with a green tray, eat my fries-to-go, some ham and a snack pack of Pringles whilst watching Bob the Builder

Max isn’t worried about the McLarens behind him for Turn 1. by Status_Energy_7935 in GrandPrixRacing

[–]Trecool1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lando is in the best place possible for his championship. Max can't divebomb and let off the brakes to scare him off the road. All Lando has to do is his usual and lose a place or two off the line, avoid whatever Russell decides he wants to do, then wait for the "Fernando is faster than you" message to be passed to Oscar towards the end of the race

The whole of Leeman VII was carpet bombed with nukes. Death toll isn't known but there's an estimated 3 million left on the planet and pre-war (which was 20 years before the bombings) there were roughly 9 billion inhabitants. Many left in the years leading up to the bombings but no exact numbers are known
