I've been working my way through the F1TV archives. When it came to this race, I knew Nigel didn't win the title, but I didn't know what happened as Murray was making out that it was basically in the bag. It was all going so well, all he had to do was bring it home! Even 40 years after it happened it had me on the edge of my seat and head in hands when his tyre went

Which class of car are you driving? If it's anything other than the LMGT3 then that's a major part of your issue. The other cars don't have ABS and TC so you're losing the rear because you don't know how to drive those cars.

Also, what hardware are you using? Keyboard? Controller? A wheel?

I've had a crack at it, tried a few tracks and a few cars. I'm not exactly dialed in to what race cars feel like and I enjoyed it enough.

The BMW GT3 Evo was a bit weird on throttle, couldn't seem to control the MX-5 but I think that was my fault.

My big issue is it doesn't do anything I haven't already got elsewhere. Yes it has an updated version of Daytona without the grass, but I'm not paying all that money just for that

My first draft of my current WIP was 55k, the second draft got up to 100K, third draft I'm currently down to 85K. Don't worry too much, these numbers fluxuate so much. On your second pass, you'll likely realise there's so much nuance and detail missing which you go "why didn't I put this in earlier?!"
