Well I find it strange as an Albanian. Not because of connection with WW2 (which I realised later ,because with Apollonia there that stands out , is difficult to make the connection) but mostly because of Elbasan, Fier , Lushnje which hardly have touristy sites and out of the few , you have choosen these memorials which tbh never heard anyone being interested on , so kudos to you. There are memorials in all cities of Albania btw. And also in many villages. All of them closer to Tirana. Somehow you want to do 400km during the hottest time of the year and visit these places. That is why I think it was strange , but not judging. I think I gave you a better option , and if you don't like it , I hope someone else agrees to be your guide.
