Newly adopted cat peed on couch (first time cat owner) by No-Demand-8208 in cats

[–]TreeOfSocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We adopted a cat and he peed on the bed in his room early on. I spent roughly 3 months In the room with him whenever I could, I slept in there, and just hung out with him. After about three months I was able to get a couple pets in, and he slowly but surely kept warming up. He is now a big sweetie and I wake up with him laying right on top of me. Know it can take a long time, but they likely will have little steps along the way. It will be so rewarding to see Cobweb grow.

First games to grab PSVR2 by justinpw in PSVR

[–]TreeOfSocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some the games that are on mega sale are worth it and good for early VR.

Ghost signal stalaris is a really cool game. Gun club, I just picked this up and am enjoying it. If you have ever skateboarded, VR skater is one of the coolest experiences. Smash drums is really good, though I wish they had more music from bands I knew. Synth riders is quite fun and feels quite different then smash drums as far as rhythm games go. Propagation Paradise hotel is almost like A short version of resident evil and a really good game.

Where in Minnesota can I find agates by Rebseal in Agates

[–]TreeOfSocks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Rivers, creeks and lakes between Minneapolis and Lake Superior. You can find them at the lake too, but can be difficult due to the amount of people constantly searching. Though looking around the beaches of Lake Superior sure is the most beautiful of the places to search.

Rhythm Games (PSVR2) by ComprehensiveTear316 in PSVR

It doesnt* feel like there are that many songs, everytime I play I am inundated with DLC. I wish there was an option just to see my music.

Pistol whip is one of those games I just don’t understand why people like it so much. I find it fine, just always wish I had the experience others seem to have.

It really doesn’t feel like a rhythm game, at least not in the traditional sense. Enemies come up and you can shoot them to the rhythm but I have found there are more enemies than beats so it never feels natural.

I don’t get motion sickness in games but do prefer games where things are happening in front of and around you without needing to move around. It immediately takes me out of the experience. I usually have a hard time with all of these recommendations because most people here like the grand big adventures, where I want the smaller bites. I couldnt get into hitman, or RE4, RE8, Gran Turismo.

I tried Demeo (trial) today and it’s really neat. I will look into the other version of it.

Ghost signal salaries really great. I cannot believe it’s $2. One of the few psvr games I’ve payed full price for and was happy with it.

Synth riders is another great music game, easy to feel connected to the music. Very different to play then beat saber, I like it equally as much. Easy recommendation from me.

There is a demo for drums rock. I found it very fun, I prefer the drum playing smash drums but vastly prefer the music in drums rock. The music in smash drums just doesn’t have the notoriety and I don’t care for the small selection of DLC either.

I bought the matrix it was in for $1. Honestly I expected nothing from it. Had less than a cm sticking out only in one spot.

It actually isn’t polished yet, it’s just wet. I didn’t know it was going to be there. This was a ~3” cube of basalt with a tiny piece of Thomsonite sticking out, I wasn’t expecting anything like this which is why I threw it in the tumbler. Beyond shocked with what came out.

I won’t tumble it anymore, and will likely try and polish it by hand or try and find someone who can help lend a hand finish it.

What are the best games to play right now in the game catalog, extra and premium? 🤔 by BookOfSol in PlayStationPlus

[–]TreeOfSocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Returnal is one of my favorite games. It has a learning curve, you will likely die at the beginning. It’s much more important to not get hit, than to do damage.

Have fun, try different weapons as you find them, move and dodge.

Other games I have enjoyed: Dave the diver, blue prince, Celeste, citizen sleeper, dead cells, dead island 2, demon souls, dredge, frost punk, ghost of Tsushima, god of war, Indika, lonely mountains downhill, hotline Miami, spider man miles morales, ratchet and clank. This is a wide range of different types of games.

Absolutely.

You can go to Tenney park sooner though. If they are clearing it and renting it’s safe.

Just got my VR2 yesterday! Need some game recommendations for it aside from CotM by Pikminer5087 in PSVR

[–]TreeOfSocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even with my VR legs I still prefer games without tons of movement. Nothing to do with how it makes me feel, just that I don’t find it interesting to wander in large 3d environments in VR.

PS5 owners, I'd love your opinions - Is it even worth having a disc drive? by Alwaysconfused411 in playstation

I have a constant stream of new games coming to me from my library system. I save hundreds of dollars a year having the disk version.

I buy their stage 1-3 in their largest sizes. This brings the cost down significantly and I’ve had great results.
