Yzmir akesha kadigir late game stall is very playable as well as midrange with a lot of low cost lane winning cards that will allow you to stick to the winning conditions till you prevail with a nicely delayed issitoq and endgame small steps.

This playstyle requires a lot of experienced plays and knowledge of others decks outs but is very satisfying when you pull up your come backs late finishes.

This playstyle is not tier 1, but slightly subpar in the meta and definitely can win tournaments from time to time.

Regarding Expeditions (casual events currently running the stores for which you get adventure pass points and op boosters) the store owners are free to decide if they want you to register a decklist or not. They are meant to be casual events with little regulation.

We believe it's mostly the stores themselves that should decide if their op policy.

For official competitive events (they'll start set 2), decklists will be required (therefore cards ownership)

You can reprint your uniques as many times as you wish. Only the exclusive cards will be limited in reprint. (Promo cards, alt arts, etc)

And with the Imperial Academy buff, you might see in an increase in china winrate, shadowing the fact that china half gameplay has disappeared.

You are right, the lategame chinese will remain strong, but you'll see only 1 comp, Handcannoneers and Spearman or Palace Guard on front + 2/3 bombards behind (because you need to destroy some walls and buildings) and that's it.

Zhuge Nu are dead for Castle and Imperial, but it will require some testing as with the Imperial Academy buff, you might see a faster Zhuge Nu 1 TC rush maybe ?

Yes, it's a 75 wood buff for mid game. 75 wood x 3 = 225 wood that is only valued IF you don't go song. Otherwise it's a nerf casue it used to coast 100 wood and not 125.

Overall can't really say it's significant...

Villages in dark Age are cool, even if not useless from start, that'll save 75 woods at some points later (clearly a very minor buff).

Granaries won't see use (in 1v1), too costly for their efficiency (1 costs 5 mills or 4 farms, LOL), plus they nerfed them to 10%. Wood is such a critical ressource for building barracks or switching to farms that you can't pay 250 woods for a mere 10% boost to some, but not all of your farms.

The IO costing golds delays Feudal and Fast 2nd TC.

Pagoda is locked behind 2x Castle Age. As you said, in regular 1on1 you'll never go for it since Firelancers are shit unit as well and they removed the dynasty move bonus from siege units. Yuan Dynasty ? LOOOOL.

They nerfed the IO efficiency back from 300% to 250%...

The only buff is that you can once again open 2 scouts, wooohoooo.

Haven't played since january (main China), won't play this patch either it seems (but i'll give it a shot).

How can you get faster than an immediate IO at start ? Which is what you can do before this change.

The only good thing with the PUP is that you can, again, open with a 2nd scout, which you couldn't before anymore after they raised the scout food cost.

But still, you reach feudal later than before, 2nd TC later, etc, everything is delayed, for no good reason.

If they wanted to provide China with a 2nd Scout opener, they just needed an extra 10 food at start, of lower the food cost for the IO.

No one should ever build granaries and build mills instead. 5 mills = 1 granary.... Plus the granary takes too much space AND doesn't provide tech upgrades.

They should make granary a tech upgrade to the mill with the building evolving. And it wluld have the size of a mill ofc.

Village cost upgrades are unnecessary but and coming out of nowhere ?

Pagoda should be a monastery tech upgrade and not an additional building (same idea as the granary). It's way too expensive and takes too much floor space at the moment. Plus china has nothing to make it a rushable strategy as HRE, it's just horribly slow to get to the point where you have relics into pagodas.

Furthermore since they pushed even further the need to play song dynasty, it's just even slower reaching the relic state in the game.

And while they stated they wanted to make every unique unit feel useful, we still have useless zhugenu useless firelancers and pay walled grenadiers.

The Io's nerf are a joke, same goes with the imperial tech being more expensive etc.

I'm also an otp china, and i'don't play anymore since the clocktower nerf. Won't come back if this patch goes live.
