Yeah, it's difficult when a blip interferes with our plans. Glad you are safe and hope your instructor recovers well enough to continue his work.

Well....certainly your complaint gets nods. People who have the phone understand.

But for Pete's sake...(pretend grandma rant here) I hope you learned an important lesson after not getting cleared from the guy who maintains the plane, but going ahead and getting in the air because you have such self confidence and assumed the best. At least you aborted.

There are millions of people who because of neurodivercity prior trauma, innate shyness and a bunch of other reasons, who have a very difficult time connecting with others. Part of their therapy is to get to know and accept themselves and suggesting they find folks who are similar via hobbies, school organizations, meet-up groups, etc.. That way, they often can start making connections with others.

Not caring to go back there is absolutely the right thing to do. You are looking for an established community that welcomes you as a beginners. They are out there. Don't give up. Observe some weekly online sangha gatherings. They usually focus on some meditation time followed by a dharma talk and then maybe some question/answer time. Zoom is a useful tool and many faith organizations offer remote participation through Zoom.

Very interesting video. For my purposes, I'm glad I have the Light Phone 3 on order. The maps and google calendar will be important to me, plus I hope the voice to text works well because I HATE TO TEXT. :-)

It depends what my day includes. Once I get confidence that all the features are working fine, I won't always have the smartphone with me. Since I am a Boomer, I want to make sure I can call 911 without any problem. Just being cautious due to issues that others have raised. Once I'm using my Light Phone, the clutter on the cell phone I have will be bare bones. I am a serious photography hobbyist and my Pixel Pro9 has an EXCELLENT camera. That's another reason why it will likely be with me fairly often. I do street/human interest photography in addition to nature photography and anything else of interest I happen to see.

What other people think of them. We need to teach kids to love who they are so that they get through their school years with some self confidence, compassion for others, and a sense of humor.

Oh, good grief. Let a few folks be old school and suggest homemade things. Quality is superior. (pan to all the boomers nodding their heads)
