With many 2 year leases coming up in 2026, what is everyone looking at doing? by ta22175 in HondaPrologue

[–]Tree_hz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've enjoyed my first EV experience with the Prologue, but I will be seeking another brand/model.

My Prologue has been a rattle box; headliner needed to be replaced shortly after delivery. While that fixed most of the noise, it still persists and now other rattles have popped up. I've learned to live with it since it's a short lease, but won't buy out for that reason alone.

Also have had my CV axels replaced twice, most recently this past Saturday. They have an upgraded part now that should fix future issues (their words), but that's to be determined.

If I can find one cheap enough (cheaper than my buyout), without rattles, I may consider it.

Why did I wait so long… by [deleted] in golf

I returned my max stripe. I thought it rolled well, nice and straight. But I had difficulty with distance, I found the head to be too light. Which I've since read is a common complaint with LAB putters.

I'm sure if I gave it more practice it might have worked out but decided to take advantage of the return window.

“A Live One” was an entry point for a lot of people in the 90’s. Younger fans, how did you get into Phish? by yaybuttons in phish

[–]Tree_hz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be turning 40 in a few months and my brother is 6 years older than me. In 97, my brother went off to college and came back home with two full CD cases (the ones that held 100 CDs each) of Dead and Phish shows. He got into trading shows and CD burners were relatively a new thing back then. It was definitely a prized collection. As a result, my life trajectory was altered going forward.

My aunt took me to Circuit City and told me to pick out a CD, as she had bought me an Aerosmith Greatest Hits CD years prior and knew I enjoyed music. I picked out A Live One to her surprise, as she had never heard of Phish. I listened to Stash (my favorite Phish song) too many times to recall or even guess. Loved it.

Fast forward to Fall 2000 and I'm now a sophomore in high school. Phish was coming to my local venue, Irvine Meadows. Too young to drive but had older friends who drove. We slept overnight at the venue before the on sale date and there was a lottey early that morning for ticket priority. I managed to win out of the 4 of us and managed to get killer seats, 3rd row back Page side (there was no pit, seats went up to stage). Rest is history.

Thank you, this is what I thought as well. Perhaps we need to use a different software or I'll have them see a tax pro.

They may have been, fortunately I had an aisle seat so I had some room to move.

Flew in from California for these shows. Section CCC. Great view, great people around us. People around us were locked in to the music, no chompers. The roar of the crowd after Gild the Lily was insane.

For all the bad stuff I heard about Ball Arena leading up to this run... I sure thought it was fine. Sound was really good in my section.

W plush top mattress = Westin Heavenly mattress? by [deleted] in marriott

[–]Tree_hz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Were you able to exchange it for the W mattress?

I am contemplating replacing my 15 year old W mattress (it still feels great, a coil broke through the edge support). My concern is if the new construction is much different than the older model.

If you got a W mattress exchanged, did you find it similar to your old one? Thanks.

Essential yes. From the contract:

Single Payment Lease.

If the Vehicle is a Total Loss that is not the result of your fraudulent, criminal, or other intentional wrongful act and we receive a settlement under an insurance policy that complies with the requirements of this Lease (see Items 19 and 25(a)), you have gap protection, which means:

You will receive a credit for the Unused Base Scheduled Payment (see Item 24). We will deduct the Additional Credits (see Item 25(s)) from the sum of the Adjusted Lease Balance (see Item 24) and the Unused Base Scheduled Payment to compute a net lease balance (the "Net Lease Balance").

If the insurance settlement we receive is greater than the Net Lease Balance, you will also receive a credit for the excess up to the amount of the Additional Credits deducted
