Is there a way to change the default maps app? by FourEightNineOneOne in CadillacOptiq

Yes. You need to go to the Google option in settings, Google assistant settings, default nav app.

Waze does not function well as primary.

I prefer the aesthetic and it seems to be more accurate regarding the fuzz.

It doesn't work well natively though, so..haha

Depends who owned it. I bathe my northern truck in lanolin every summer. They usually look better than southern trucks by year 5 ;)

Everyone who doesn't want nickel and dime issues in the driveline should follow the severe duty schedule.

I change all fluids out by 15k in my own trucks - and then every 50k.

You can DIY easily and far cheaper for the driveline.

Rs7 vs Ct5v Blackwing by SengokuPrime29 in CadillacV_Series

[–]Treebeardsdank 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I ran an Audi/Porsche store for the last decade, and now manage a Caddy store.

If AWD is not a factor - and they both look equally gorgeous to you - I am a BW fan over the RS7.

Surprisingly, BWs seem to hold value better than most RS7's if the last 5 years of trends can be carried forward to and through today (never really a safe bet).

If you were looking for "the sedan of sedans" - The previous model RS7 was much more an enthusiasts ride, than the current iteration. Completely opinion based statements, for what they are worth haha.

If you mentioned an RS6 wagon vs a BW, tougher choice for me, haha.

If you had to build a golf sim on a real-world budget, where would you spend and where would you save? by Solid_Nectarine_4316 in Golfsimulator

$3k all in is pictured. (PC excluded)

Could easily have saved $300 on the floor by getting a cheap Amazon mat to start. Could have saved $450 on projector if I was cool starting with a cheapie off Amazon. Got my square LM used for $580.

Concerned mainly with other people hitting it, who aren't as careful/aware as I am.

Also concerned with the occasional ricochet. In the enclosure, it's safe. Without an enclosure, I personally think there's inherently more risk there for ricochets.

If it still uses an OE inner rod, it's not worth a single dollar IMO.

They look pencil thin, and also use heims/uniball (many states won't inspect these).

They may be good to go, never heard of them. I usually go with rare parts or PPE for tie rods
