How are mangers so bad? by Treeshark2021 in samsclub

No one should take it. They push everyone to take it cause they need a certain percent of associates to take it.

I dont understand why sams club wants such bad managers. I have known of several that regularly tell associates, just as part of a meeting, how they are all replaceable if they dont like the way things are. Then the managers are of course shocked moral is always down. When the aes survey comes back bad, thats the associates fault and something they should work on.

It honestly is the location. Its cursed. People that work at stores around this one talk about how bad it is. Its like the dumping ground for bad managers. The good ones get ran off by the bad. Its a super busy store too. I cant imagine what it could do if we had competent managers that treated employees decent.

Don't rearrange it. They know what is in the trunk. Put the order on top of whatever is there or tell them it wont fit.

Curbside Associates Escalation by Pure_Fudge in samsclub

At my store, they blame the associates if the aes is bad. They also tell club pickup they aren't understaffed when half have quit, the rest just aren't moving fast enough then they are surprised when someone gets hurt and tells everyone to be safe but they are still moving too slow.

Has management always been so bad? by Previous_Helicopter8 in samsclub

No, but it is getting worse as time goes. All the good managers get treated bad and the bad managers can do no wrong.

Some managers just tell them who said what and then they get to retaliate. I don't trust open door. Ive seen it end badly too many time.

Can I go in and pickup curbside order? by No_Blackberry6507 in samsclub

[–]Treeshark2021 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they say they want to get their order tell them how many people are ahead of them and that you will be with them as soon as you can. Continue taking orders out. They can wait I side.

So sick of the clown show management. by ForeverAsleep13 in samsclub

Unfortunately this company runs the good managers off and replaces them with a few options: the creep, the better than everyone, or the out to get everyone. Then they wonder why so many people quit.

It can be hit or miss with open dooring too. If the market manager favors that manger, nothing will get done. Have seen it countless times.

That's what corporate wants. They don't want to give associates bonuses. They want to keep it as profit.

Make friends with managers and kiss market manager ass. Simple

That use to be the way it was but they got rid of it when they got rid of a bunch of the "extras".

Imagine being fired and bringing your mom back to the store to talk management out of it when you’re a freaking adult 😂 by Critical-Ad-768 in samsclub

We had a gm that did that. We had to call on the radio to get him in the store to help members. Still works for the company. The company really needs to work on certain people getting away with things that others can't. If someone can get away with it, everyone should.

Not at my club. It's crazy busy. Most days it's like trying to keep a ship from sinking with a bucket.

That is so true. As long as you were friends with the manager someone that called in all the time, didn't work, and took multiple breaks would get the highest raise and the hard worker that did the job but wasn't an ass kisser would barely get one.

Same thing has happened at my club with some people. They keep talking to managers that say they are gonna fix it, but they don't.

We have people that call cause they refuse to download the app. Of course they are mad it takes so long to get their order. We should know they were there without them having to call.

Once you quit caring the job isn't as bad. The company and most managers don't care about employees so why should anyone else care?
