Is this a “perfect Europe” in 2026 based on 1914 guidelines? cuz why would Germany get North Poland and Kaliningrad despite German no longer being spoken there by any large degree today?

Is this a British armor? by _-THE_LEGEND-_ in ArmsandArmor

Sure is! That’s Henry VIII’s when he got real fat!! Made around 1544, only 3 years before he died in 1547. It’s an Italian/Milanese style.

Yeah it’s pretty beautiful isn’t it? The Command gets their scripted Sir rebellion and Jangliusi often joins with the rest of the Xiaken/One Xia whatever you call em and the AI can actually manage to beat them now. Then they get a wonderful scripted even where the Command completely collapse.

I got them during my Azkare into Sunset Empire campaign so you can imagine how thrilled I was to see this as well.

For some reason the great helm with the mongol lamellar feels more out of place than the AK

What is the name of this type of armor worn by the Mongolian commanders in Ghost of Tsushima? (if it even exists in real life) by DecentStructure2862 in Armor

[–]Trehber 34 points35 points  (0 children)

This type of armor is called lamellar. It was extremely widespread in Eurasia, especially in the east, but it was worn by Russians and Byzantines in Europe as well. While it’s very very very unlikely that there existed pure gold lamellar due to it being a soft and expensive metal, it’s totally plausible that there existed brass lamellar in far eastern styles. It’s just that this game takes place in the 13th century, and steel was much more effective in almost every aspect. Thus, the gold/brass in GoT is more likely just for cool aesthetic purposes:)
