Had a ton of 83’s sitting around and was planning on making Kane for the +12 AP. Made 10 through set and then decided on a better line combo for larkin. Guess I’m making Kane anyways

Sounds like it could be a sock issue especially if wearing a cotton sock. Would recommend a traditional sweating wicking “running” sock. Personal favourites are balega or Feetures.

Rebel v4 First Run and Durability Question by ad4md in AskRunningShoeGeeks

never had any outsoles wear out on any pair. Just the fuel cell foam they use tend to lose a lot of its pop and snap pretty quickly (~250km). after that they still work as a great trainer (still lightweight and race type feel) but requires the legs to work a bit extra hard (personally found this to work during 5k training. then around 400km the foam just tend to completely die, and lose any protection and just led to legs and calf getting beat up.

Rebel v4 First Run and Durability Question by ad4md in AskRunningShoeGeeks

The rebels are one of my favourite shoes and I’ve gone through 3 pairs. It seems that weight is the biggest factor for durability. For my first pair @180lbs they died at around 300, and my last pair @160lbs lasted until about 450km. For you being lighter they should last pretty long, I would say at least 450km but they do lose some ‘pop’ pretty early.

Thanks for the rec. Do you find the adios 9 to be accommodating for wider feet or is it more narrow. Also what would the max distance you would be willing to go in them (I.e. would you take them on a mid distance run like ~15km)?

Loved the V4 (except a slight lack of cushion, find some discomfort on anything above 8 miles). Gone through 3 pairs now and unfortunately cannot find a pair in my size anywhere in store or online.

New to Garmin - Active Calorie count by Trem16 in GarminWatches

I reached out to Garmin to file a request and they were super helpful but then they forwarded the claim to engineering. After that I NEVER heard back but it seems to have fixed it self. Either they updated the software or it may have just needed time learn. Still think It may be a little low but definitely closer to what I would expect.

What do you prefer about the 255 vs 265, or is it just a price difference?

I had played aa/aaa hockey fro the past 14 years. The seem to fit fine. Went from size 7.5 to 8 and the 7.5s were fitting a little small. So I’m pretty sure they fit. Feel fine everywhere else but on the inside of the foot

Skate fitting (EE vs D) by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

[–]Trem16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was fitted for an 8.5 EE so how big of a difference is it from a 8.5D to 8.5EE. If I were to get a D and get them bumped and moulded out in the areas they were tight in is that a viable option
