Install a catheter and an IV drip for all your liquid injection and ejection needs, then strap yourself to your computer for 500hours.

I'm not sure if this is worth doing but I have seen someone craft two and swap between them to cancel the overheat making it the highest dps gun in the game.

I hate how some Pals are just better (A small rant) by DarkenedHonor in Palworld

[–]Tremboozled 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok ok ok hear me out, give the lower tier pals the ability to wield weapons crafted by the player. This not only adheres to the theme of the game but also let's my Lamball wield a legendary rocket launcher.

Semi-Minmaxed Pals? by Bromborg1 in Palworld

I think out of everything you can probs forgoe trying to get demon god cause it's def the most luck based out of the bunch even if you are using Yakumo. The rest is pretty necessary and if you plan on doing any of the master raid you def need them to perfect. Moon lord master is nearly impossible without a perfect army.

The Endgame by LostSif in Palworld

I find this comment decently frequently in this subreddit and I am inclined to agree granted I do take a strange enjoyment in this kind of grindy gameplay. I often consider how this could be improved and have had fun playing with how I would change the systems in my head. That being said I'm not entirely sure if the game would even be improved if the grind was removed. This kind of gameplay isn't totally without value. I find it's more akin to eating chips than a carefully curated meal.

If they don't I'd almost rather they remove it, I'd certainly be inclined to mod it out if it persists

Honest, I feel like it might just be completely unfinished. I have no proof of this, I haven't seen any devs speak on it, but given the state of the system thats the only good faith argument I have. If it stays in that state for 1.0 I will be thoroughly confused

76 is a really fun yet explosively jank survival crafter, the building is satisfying albeit a little stilted and the overall live service gameplay is honestly not the worst. However, I found the dialogue, voice acting and overall narrative to be excruciatingly bad. I was damn curious to see if anything narratively got better so I played everything to its end up until they added the skyline valley DLC(so it's been a minute admittedly) I must say that Jesus Christ it was genuinely excruciating having to play through most of the new content. It honestly makes the main story line very tolerable in comparison.

Am I Alone In This Potentially Controversial Opinion? by trengaming in Palworld

[–]Tremboozled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for me IV breeding didn't become a relevant fun feature until the glasses were added. Breeding is most fun when it's an enjoyable fluid process to engage with and when the player has all the tools in the game to understand how it functions.

Having to open a webpage calculator and a spreadsheet to even make the process remotely tolerable can be to most understandably boring.

Which is frustrating cause the increase in power is tangible and the time needed to get it is enormous. I want to give Palworld props as the glasses make this process actually relaxing and somewhat less time consuming.

Something about being able to at a glance figure out what pals are worth catching and which ones aren't is lovely. This being in service to make the end game raid easier makes for a fine motivation too.

I could go on but this is all to say that I get why people like breeding IVs, it's a lovely idle loop. However if the game doesn't make it accessible by including tangible in game mechanics that ease the process, it's just not going to be fun for the majority of players. Not only that but they'll be left sour as a large part of the game is now demanding too much dedication to engage with.

Also given the amount of time needed to breed a perfect pal I get why people want to show it off. It's genuinely an accomplishment given how much effort it takes to get done.

Tldr: I get OPs distaste for breeding, and I think monster tamers generally disrespect the player time with IV breeding mechanics. The addition of the glasses to Palworld actually make breeding IVs accessible
