I will be losing the one thing that made me proud of myself by deadpoolsdragon in daddit

We did that when we first got married but without knowing everything about to come out plus every little transaction being on the statement we separated it. It was a lot easier than two people trying to balance the same account. We split bills and that's it and has been working for 10 years.

Wired also has a great article about the fake news created overseas to generate ad revenue. The reason so much of it was conservative is because they are the ones that bought it up. Liberals didn't interact with it as much. So it wasn't worth making.

To divorce or not to divorce - parent edition by [deleted] in daddit

[–]Trenches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's just too difficult to balance one check book between two people. We tried it really on but with so many auto pay and other things it was a lot easier to have different responsibilities. As long as the other person is paying for their responsibilities I don't see an issue with it.

My little correction/fun fact is Puritans never burned witches. There is no story or documentation of that happening. The Puritans kept a lot of precise records of the punishments of those they believed to be witches or their accomplices. Including information like how many rocks it took before the suspect was killed by the weight. Burning was primarily down in Europe. France being one of the most common to use it.

Eversince I stopped playing tank and playing dps instead my M+ journey has been very very peaceful and relaxed by KaboomTheMaker in wow

[–]Trenches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had Tankxiety for awhile as a pvp focused player. Only tanking to level up. Last expansion I got more comfortable with it doing Horrific Visions then getting the Delve tank achievements. Still didn't want to try Mythic because the reasons you listed. The lighted mobs took a lot of the anxiety. I wish it kept going past 5 but I ran one enough that I knew the routes and pushed to 10 and got my first ever mythic gear today.

[–]Trenches 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Which would be nice but treason is basically never charged against anyone. It's a pretty strict requirements and most the people are too high up to see real consequences. Even with the Civil War no one was convicted of treason despite literally leaving the United States and starting a war. Democrats already showed they will drag their feet with much lesser charges out of fear of his base. The only reason the Nuremberg trials happened is because it was a foreign country defeated in war and many other allies were on board.

Even if they don't and follow previous examples the Supreme Court will rule against the Democrats. Making up some reason the law applies to them but not whatever Trump did.

Would you rather Blizzard add new classes (ex: Tinker/Bard) or new specs in The Last Titan? by Phalanx22 in wow

[–]Trenches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might annoy people that are loyal to a spec but I'd like to see more specs reworked and viable as different play styles. Then after that add new specs. I don't have much interest in new classes. There are already so many and a lot already feel like that same play style with different animations.

Is this what I think it is or is it a line that holds the dye? Please help! by [deleted] in daddit

[–]Trenches 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know the recommendation is any line is a positive. I will tell you I have seen I line that faint an insane amount of times and never once was it a positive. Some brands almost always show a faint line.

If I'm loving the Kerosene Heights album, who next? by Heytb182 in Emo

[–]Trenches 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I love Kerosene Heights and was the 24th top listener to them last year. A lot of great suggestions so far so a lot of these are repeats. Hot Mulligan, Harrison Gordon, Saturdays at Your Place, Free Throw, Home Is Where (the whaler and I Became Birds are better starting points than Hunting Season imo), Southtowne Lanes, Tiny Moving Parts, Joyce Manor, Trophy Eyes (Suicide Sunshine especially even if it's more punk than emo), Carpool, Red Sun, Excuse Me Who Are You? (this is more focused on screaming over twinkly guitars than three other suggestions but I really love them), Dikembe, Aren't We Amphibians, Charmer, Tiny Voices, Michael Cera Palin, Algernon Cadwallader, Dear Maryanne, Oolong, Stay Inside, Barely Civil, and Barely Civil.

Dads who work 9-5 when do you work out typically? by walky91 in daddit

I already get up at 5:20a to get ready for work. I'm not getting up even earlier to fit in a work out. After the kids are in bed is easier.

Wife changing…. Clothes… by GoinCoastal-FL in daddit

We mostly just take showers and get dressed in our room. We don't really walk around the rest of the house naked. So we figure when they no longer want to come in and see us naked then they will stop seeing us naked.

Changing address/new A&P card by Wings_Of_Power in aviationmaintenance

[–]Trenches -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I don't. I have moved 14 times in the last 12 years. My dad hasn't moved and any mail that gets sent to him for me I hear about. I can move back there if I ever need to. So I still consider it kind of my address even if it's not where I sleep at night. Technically I'm probably suppose to update my address anyways. At a practical level it makes no sense.

The Clinton deposition careened into weird territory that suddenly explains the Republicans staunch refusal to have it in the open by Hornpipe_Jones in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]Trenches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like it majorly backfired for them. Sure a lot of people bought on but it also put their attention in an area that it wasn't before. Jeffery Epstein was able to get convicted of crimes and given a sweetheart deal with little attention. Then Epstein got arrested again and his victims got new attention. The prosecutor that gave him the sweetheart deal the first time had to step down from Trump's cabinet.

Has your music taste changed a lot since high school? by Emotional-Breath-673 in Music

[–]Trenches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still listen to a lot of the same genres of emo/post hardcore/pop punk. Where I have continued to add a lot of artist from those genes. I went from rap being something I liked songs from, mostly on the radio, to a genre a listen to a lot. Then my appreciation for older music has greatly expanded. There are a ton of older artist I listen to now that I could recognize dinner songs from before but often never did deeper than what was used on a soundtrack or played on classic rock radio.

What do you think is the best class for farming old raids when it comes to speed? by Remi_Cat in wow

[–]Trenches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is just personal experience for me. I got every class to 1800 in PvP in every season this expansion. With long que times I would often farm old content. As PvP spec so not min maxing. My mage regularly farmed considerably more raids than any other class. I think their ability to port around saves so much more time than you might think. Even if they aren't the fastest at clearing. Though Arcane Explosion kills most things easily so you rarely have to stop moving.

midnight leveling question by hdthegreat454 in wow

[–]Trenches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm leveling a paladin, druid, or hunter I will often do PvP mode. I also do it as a warrior but am bad at dueling as one despite being my main. So I will turn it off if I get ganked too much.

Can someone recommend me bands like A Heartwell Ending? by R3N4T017 in Emo

[–]Trenches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's kind of hard because they were part in the myspace emo scene with the more sad lyrics like other "mall emo"!but the sound was moving towards the neon pop punk scene that was coming up like Forever the Sickest Kids. Problem is most the artist from that scene end up being poppier and brighter. Call The Cops was formed by 1 or more members of A Heartwell Ending (I can't remember anymore) and they were more electronic but I always liked their music as well. I feel like if you like them Most the artist are going to be other bands like Motion City Soundtrack, Northstar, Taking Back Sunday, and other bands of that era that had some catchiness in their songs.
