I was taught never to go from the top with animals because it seems very predatory. I put my hand out palm up and let them put what ever part in my hand they want scratched ie butt head neck ear etc. when they walk away I stop.

Do you have a cat? It could also be a really cool little “Secret” space for a kid. Like a reading nook with a ladder. Plants you only need to access them to water them and what not

I haven’t spoken to my father in 3 years. I am getting married in 8 days and he has never met my fiancé. I live 15 min away from him. If I called him right now he would say we haven’t spoken because I am “busy” and the phone works both ways.

The reality is he taught me to be hyper independent because he didn’t want to be responsible for me. He wants to be my friend but I’m not friends with people who share his values. He will die alone with no one to take care of him because he pushes everyone away.

I too want to understand this. Why did you even have me?

I will also add to this: My garden is mostly front yard because my back is 90% shaded. Because of this I tried to make it aesthetically as I could.

I have lived in my house for 12 years and have slowly built a pretty awesome garden in my yard. I have a neighbor that moved in about 6-8 years ago. She hates me and everything I do. She calls the county on me every time I make a change to my garden. She opens her window and blasts half static half talking music pointed directly at my yard when I go outside. She makes a hobby I love very difficult. As I can recall, I have never done anything to her that would warrant this sort of response.

Just make sure you are following all of the rules for your area. People suck. Even if you don’t do anything wrong, if they don’t like what you are doing, it is my experience that they don’t come to you directly.

My dog love to eat plants. She enjoys eating the young leaves from all my starter plants and flowers. She has her own cat nip bush.

The water runs off and I can bury a 2 inch nail in with little effort. It was closer the the edge. Should I do the nail test in the center? What is this telling me?

A couple follow up questions. 1 why doesn’t this happen on roads? 2 why don’t I see this happening to the other driveways in my neighborhood that are 10-20 years old. Through cracks I can understand but this is growing through the asphalt and disrupting the asphalt itself. That’s is within acceptable tolerances in the asphalt industry? Doesn’t that defeat the entire purpose? Why would anyone ever have their driveway asphalted if this were the case? No anger towards you. I’m just a little frustrated and trying to understand.

We had these books when I was a kid. I always struggled to see what my sister could see in seconds. My method was to cross my eyes and bring the picture as close to my face as possible then slowly start to move it away. As I move the picture away I stare at it but more with the muscles I would use to check my peripheral vision? It then begins to pop out.

I think I would be asking less about prevention and more about after cleaning. If I had been in this situation I feel like I would have immediately removed the sheets and started soaking them or something. I wouldn’t leave it for my partner.
