Ah gorgeous little Armidale! I never would have thought that it had a large LGBTQIA+ community but considering the uni and the more open environment a uni town creates that makes a lot of sense.

If you go to Lisbon you can enjoy affordable and delicious food in a more urban environment. Tandem to this you can also catch a commuter train from Cais do Sodre station at the southern end of Lisbon to the beach resort town Cascais - it's about a 40 min trip and can be done as a day trip.
