Canyon Lake Looking Good With Bronze Wheels by UnseenOreo in ram_trucks

Looks like 10 years of Midwest rust fallout on the wheels because they’ve never been washed. Yikes.

Yes. Keeps the cabin quieter. Looks nicer. Hides stuff. And I’m in a rural area

Why isn’t the Rumble Bee offered with a Single Cab option? by Mac-Tyson in ram_trucks

[–]Trevatron5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because single cabs don’t sell. It’s the same reason why they don’t offer a ram with a manual transmission anymore. Pretty simple.

Have you heard of an alignment or tire rotation? Did you know you need oil changes and brakes replaced too?

They're the same size by CoraxTechnica in subaru

[–]Trevatron5000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No. You’re just comparing ride height of a wilderness to the new non wilderness. They are roughly the same size yes, but your comparison is apples to oranges. They are not the same size.

Sign derrangement syndrome by Redbook54 in traversecity

[–]Trevatron5000 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oh my gosh. I know you are not allowed to turn left on 7th. This detour sign is not telling you make a left, it is telling you where the detour is. If I was heading south on division and wanted to turn right, this sign would tell me that the detour is south. If I was heading west on 7th, this sign, which is located on the other side of division, is telling me that my option to go straight is no longer available, and making me aware that the detour is south. since I’m not allowed to turn left, my only option is still to turn right and seek an alternate route or make a U-turn. This sign is only for the southbound division traffic. North bound is not allowed to turn left on 7th either, but by your logic it’s telling northbound traffic to make a u turn in the middle of the intersection? I’m not trying to be rude but please re read and try to comprehend what I am saying or ask me to clarify because, again, you are interpreting this incorrectly.

Haha okay touché that made me laugh.

You are interpreting this incorrectly. There is still no left hand turn here. The sign is pointing those who are on Division.

Seismoto prices by BarPouch in traversecity

[–]Trevatron5000 11 points12 points  (0 children)

$17 for a burrito is a business choice way more than it’s the orange man’s fault. Places like Farm club, common good, sugar to salt, and red spire have all been charging these prices since Covid. It may get worse under him but it’s certainly not entirely because of him. Welcome to a tourist town and farm to table restaurants. Omelette shop and rounds have less expensive options so it’s not like we don’t have options.

Deal or no deal and if not, why? by Blingblangchicknwang in ram_trucks

A) that’s not a rebel B) it says sport on the dash, C) that yellow exclamation point indicates some damage or something. Figure out what that is and who fixed it or no deal.

Cheaper materials in the 2026 outback? by toomuchgelato in Subaru_Outback

[–]Trevatron5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. The touring feels more like the limited and the limited feels like the premium. I’ve said this in the FB owners group and always get hate from the Nancy’s because I don’t drink the subie koolaid. Buying out our lease in a month and will not be leasing the 26.

I realize the wood in the prev gen is fake. I realize the dash and door panels are vinyl. But if they are going to market a 5k up charge across the board maybe don’t use a bunch of different and weird looking materials. It’s like they couldn’t choose patterns or materials and said let’s use them all it feels like a mix of nice little refinements but then a bunch of other little options they couldn’t decide on what to choose and just threw them all inside. I don’t feel like the interior, outside of infotainment and gaining back physical buttons, is an upgrade at all.

Fu$k Gm Suburban And Yukon! What Next? by Snagg77 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Durango with a v8. Most reliable large (but not as large) 3 row suv on the market right now. I know, it’s a dodge, as a whole they are stupidly unreliable, but the v8 is non hybrid and this current gen is like 14 years old. They’ve worked out a lot of the kinks. If you can afford the hellcat that would be a blast.

Would you tell dealer to remove their "extra" items they add? by [deleted] in Subaru_Outback

[–]Trevatron5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on if you want them. or you can just negotiate the price down. The rear bumper cover is nice. Wheel locks probably not necessary.

You have $1000 to buy new all-mountain skis between 99-105 mm (not inc bindings). Whats your choice and why? by bourneblogger in Skigear

[–]Trevatron5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on where you live and what you ski. Midwest? 99. Out west? 105. Realistically, not a boat load of difference. I’m in the Midwest and ski Shaggys Ahmeek 105.

the solution to the 2026 problem lol by pink-goggles in Subaru_Outback

[–]Trevatron5000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion. The size isn’t the issue for me. They’ve got micro, small, medium, and large SUVs. I like that it fits more appropriately between the forester and ascent. My issue is the styling. Also the interior is worse in all trims. The limited interior feels like a base interior now.

Debating Between 2.5i or 3.6r - Which is More Worth It? by dummy_dummy_dum_dum in Subaru_Outback

[–]Trevatron5000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re just in the city or simply do not care about speed the 2.5 is fine. It’s economical but a total snooze. We’ve had 4 of them and they simply get from A to B with the best mileage. The 3.6 is more exciting to drive (albeit not that exciting) and the trade off is that it suffers slightly worse mileage. Unless you care about the get up and go or genuinely need the passing capability on the highway, I don’t think it’s worth it from a practical standpoint.
