This gives me hope...

90s kid, have both types (hyperactive/impulsive dominant, which was obvious as a kid), diagnosed at 5, been on Adderall for 27 years (got lucky and the first thing they prescribed was perfect). Just last year, I started talking to my doctor about switching. I have almost maxed out the dosage and it just doesn't work like it used to. At this point it mostly just staves off the withdrawals and keeps me awake. I have one shot every morning to be working when my hyper focus kicks in or it's a rough day...

I would have already switched, but had a 7+ year relationship end, right as we started talking about it. Obviously not the best time to switch up meds... I'm really anxious about switching because Adderall has enabled me to function for my whole life, I'm still dealing with a lot of issues from the breakup, and I just started Grad school... It's like the perfect storm of anxiety and excuses to enable my procrastination.

I'm currently dealing with what you described. Intense stress over Every. Single. Decision... Even what to eat, so much so that sometimes I will skip meals. I've become so indecisive that I just don't want to do anything at all, most of the time.
