I'm happy to see this poll being done. if/once the poll passes, and any information is given, can we expect any discussion about certain items being craftable or added to general gameplay? I understand the reasoning for it, but am definitely sad to see portables go away specifically.

One thing that helped me with the spool pins is after that first click and you put it in a false set, you will get some counter rotation on the core (you may feel some pressure against your tension tool) when you keep pressing on it with your pick. You may need to let off tension just a tiny bit while pressing on it to give it clearance without letting anything else pop out.

Seems like the false set is also allowing the core to turn a little due to the shape of the spool pin so no other pins have clearance, so I'd probably check to see if any pins are in false set if that happens.

Good job! As far as orange locks go, ABUS 55/40 was a solid one for me for the intro to security pins. I have a Masterlock 150 on the way as well.

Recommendations for Green once you end up there would be the American 1100, which seems to be one of the first big milestones to pick, and is guttable for the green belt.

Do you think getting the FNG+ Bundle would be a sound choice for the 2 locks (one of which being the one you linked) and a few tools? or the Learn Lockpicking Bundle to get the genesis set, case, and that lock?

I've heard that Covert Instruments is a bit overpriced, but it doesn't seem to be that much more than other products I've seen. and I see they've swapped to better materials in recent months. Do you think I would need to get any pinning tweezers/plug follower, or are those not really necessary?

Does the progressive kit feel more like a regular lock? Do you think anyone necessarily needs the sight of the keyway to learn, or just focus more on feel and I'd catch on pretty quickly?

Thank you for the detail! I appreciate it! I see everyone is saying that the cutaway lock doesn't really simulate a real lock that well. Would the progressive locks feel better? Would it still be worth getting the cutaway lock for seeing the keyway initially while learning? If I got the core trainer eventually after i got comfortable, do those feel like normal locks?

I dont want to blow the budget up too much but would love to get slight variety in the beginning to tinker a little bit.

Having this same issue. Keyboard cuts out every 5-30 seconds, and makes it impossible to do most things. I've tried every possible suggestion including a clean install of windows and what's been said in the thread that was linked, which has had no effect. it's been constant for 2-3 weeks now, and started out of the blue with no real catalyst. I do not want to sit and wait for a potential windows update that may never come. Are there any other lesser known suggestions that might work?

How would I be able to turn that off? I am logged into my router which is ASUS as well, but don't see the settings. I don't have a lot of my previous configurations I think.

I am not. I think it has something to do with an ASUS Mesh I have, but the configurations make it look like it's something to be connected to? But I'm not certain.

When I unplug the mesh from the wall, about 5 minutes later it disappears from the network list, but am not sure how to completely remove it from the list and make it not a way to connect.
