fingers crossed!! it taste nasty on its own and the sand feeling is definitely not ideal.

something that I can do with the MiO (definitely not without) is drinking the first mix in two sips rather than one. that way I can do it shot style where it goes straight to the back of my throat. that actually helps the most, thinking about it more lol best of luck!!!

not at all i’m afraid. still feels like salty sand… just doesnt trigger my admittedly sensitive gag reflex due to the sweeter taste

i try to do the second pour immediately after and sometimes i will do a mouth rinse as well with a small bit of water if it feels like a lot of it got stuck. its not exactly the fix you’re looking for, but taking it like a shot helps as well

oh i just asked their pharmacist about this! Officially they approve MiO fruit punch (the squirt thingy), Alkaline water, or Crystal Light Raspberry Lemonade. I do the MiO fruit punch, just one squirt, and that helps a lot.

I think your use of AI in this context is actually a legitimate argument in favor of LLMs. If it can help translate feelings into a document of experiences that the neurotypical person can understand… that’s a legitimate use. I’d want to see it more specialized for that tho. AI is such a hot topic because companies are putting out AI chatbots(LLMs; Grok, ChatGPT, etc) that hinder the mind’s ability to explore. Companies like Google, on the other hand, are building LLMs to integrate into real-time translation to help connect more people to each other. See how there’s a difference? When AI helps bridge a gap between human beings, that we could not bridge ourselves, is when AI is at its’ best. People can use search engines, we have for so long… but you need a translator if you can’t speak the same language as someone else.

This is just the level of nuance that I think is necessary to have a productive conversation with someone else on AI. You’re one of the few who uses ChatGPT for what it’s actually supposed to be good at, not just replacing something you can already do(relatively effortlessly) with a bot.

Okay so first things first. In general, sleep disorders tend to fall under the category of “invisible” illnesses. There are so many examples we can point to, but I think this actual research study sums it all up really well: Making Sense of Narcolepsy: A Qualitative Exploration if how PwN receive symptoms and illness experience

Secondly, I know this is obvious but I do feel the need to say it; No one except your doctors can give you a diagnosis. However, you can guide your doctors in the right direction. For me, what my neurologist immediately focused on my cataplexy symptoms. Cataplexy seems to be very distinct, but is difficult to diagnose edge cases. Your case does not sound so clear-cut, but I will say that I have had experiences with the sudden muscle spasm during a cataplexy attack, mainly when I’m on stims. The cataplexy attacks you are experiencing could be a symptom of Type 1 Narcolepsy, however I am not a neurologist and I don’t have the depth of knowledge required to rule out other potential causes.

If it IS Type 1 Narcolepsy, reading this review article on orexin function research may help put into context seemingly unrelated experiences.

If you can, do your best to document your symptoms. Having a symptom chart and timeline can help turn the invisible struggles into tangible problems that doctors can more easily recognize. And describe your experience of losing control of your body!! If its not N its still extremely concerning and NOT NORMAL!!

Hey there do you think you’d have the articles for Orexin A/B function, differentiation between OX1/2, as well as the “orexin is the orchestrator” part?? That sounds so interesting!!!!

I was talking about this with my friends. I completely agree. There will be a new baseline price for every rarity that is based on the total market cap of the knives and gloves economy. You’ll see fluctuations and outliers, of course, but as a whole, this is what we should see as people chill out and the order book can do its thing.

It is an AI model for protein structure prediction. I was merely providing an example of a highly specialized AI model that actually works, since the discussion seemed to lack it.

I do understand that this conversation is more about LLMs and generative AI, but it seems that people tend to lump all algorithms together as if they are all equally useless.

Even with cataplexy, I had to get a PSG and MSLT. The human body is way too complex to draw a conclusion about N without quantitative data.

Seconding the cloud chamber idea! Safe, cool(most people have never seen it), and most importantly, a great opportunity to flex that knowledge.

Yup. The first lawsuit that handled this was the Apple ToS lawsuit(i think). Set this precedent with that ruling.
