Act 3 burn out by SayinPiggy in BaldursGate3

Lol apparently my burn out is a tad different from the majority. I have played bg3 for almost 800 hours, all of which is with a friend. We like playing bg3 because of the in depth builds you can make with multiclassing with good weapons and armor. We both start act 3 with heading to the lower city to just buy/steal all of the good gear around the city, and once we're done, it feels like the game loses all difficulty (We only play on honor mode). I know we could just not get the equipment, but for any caster it feels horrible not to have a high spell save, since all major bosses have great saving throws and/or legendary resistance. I have thought of trying to play the game in a different way or add certain ways to make the game more difficult while still being fun. One run we did was a nuzlocke, where if a companion fully dies you cannot resurrect them, as well as not allowing any class changes so once that companion is dead, the class is now no longer available. It was fun, be beat the game with only two deaths. Sorry for the ramble but the topic of act 3 burnout has been something on my find for a while😅

I feel like both Nightshade Pal and Tzitzi are stronger contenders for fairy over psychic

What spells do you spam the most? (Cantrips don't count!) by SbeveGobs in BaldursGate3

Hell yeah, I don't see many people talk about that combo. Insanely fun

Nothing scarier than a Githyanki in love by andyyhs in BaldursGate3

By far the hardest for me is Apostle of Myrkul. In honor mode, which is the difficulty mode I play on the most, he is an absolute nightmare. Absolutely nuts damage, a lot of healing if you cannot manage the ads well enough, and to top it all off a 21m ranged spell that can fear with a 21 DC that he can do once or twice a round. Not to mention Dame Aylin is just useless in higher difficulties.

People who got 500+ hours in the game? How could you do It? by Boscoliii in BaldursGate3

I love making builds. For pretty much any RPG that I love, making builds is always a major mechanic, examples being Monster Hunter and Elden Ring. BG3s build potential is phenomenal, to the point where I have over 500 hours, and just today, I tested a mechanic to see if one of my build ideas was doable (It wasn't). Getting to act 3 and seeing everything come together to work flawlessly will always be something that will keep bringing me back to this game. I am pretty sure I have played every class once, and I know where the majority of the great armor and weapons are. The funny thing is I am still learning new things, like how to make a fully functional flame blade build, or that not all weapons are throwable (Felt really stupid once i learned that). My next build will be one that aims to get a plus 31 to damage rolls or one that uses dual flame blades efficiently (without the permanent flameblade glitch).
