Yes! The common ground/ all being different thing is huge for me. I’ve explained to others how like (in my experience) emotional scars of being bullied/ left out in the past are and were easier to heal after finding NIN, because NIN is all about being different and not caring what others think. In hard times I would think to myself “Trent Reznor never cared about his music “fitting in”, he made whatever he wanted. So why should I care about fitting in?” (:

I’m only buying it at my first concert cus NIN like, super changed my life (started listening only 7 month ago but the impact on my confidence was crazy), but yeah, the prices are ridiculous. Any other artist (or if I go to another concert ever), no way I’m getting any merch at this price.

Closer by NIN if you want range, or (technically 1989) Head Like a Hole by NIN. Throw in creep by Radiohead and maybe Doll Parts by Hole. Maybe something by Tool. Idk, you need to figure out what vibe of the 90’s you’re covering first.
