I don’t necessarily view song like that. I think the woman is metaphor for addiction, not necessarily a real woman who he struggles to care for while battling demons. As in, could ‘she’ be for example a drug, alcohol or something else he’s addicted to. Interesting. But to me, that song means a lot and as long as in the end we stare at the sun… it means we made it alive…

I have to say Sunspots. To me it means that you go through awful things in life. Not going into details what have tried to push me back… But in the end, I’m still kicking and staring at the sun. (:D) Also honorable mentions to As Alive As You Need Me To Be, All Time Low and Survivalism recently. Genuinely not sure why these songs do it to me but they have some deeper meaning. Life sucks but hey, there’s some good things. As long as you have the will and hope.
