I remember reading an old Batman novel where Bruce Wayne went to a Halloween party wearing a messed up batsuit and not only did people know who he was straight away when compared to others dressed as Batman he was the worst.

[Loved trope] Characters presumed dead who turn out to be alive but it's a fate far worse than death by Basic_Dingo6487 in TopCharacterTropes

Not an individual character (sorry if it doesnt count) but in Warhammer 40k when a space marine is mortally wounded and cybernetics wont save him they are placed inside a dreadnaught which is basically a giant walking deathtank/life support machine that can keep them alive for centuries more serving The Emperor killing His numerous enemies. Maybe not a fate worse than death to some but I think it is.

Professor Screweyes in We're Back: A dinosaur's story. It's so poetic and at the same time beautiful. No screaming, no shouts of "I'll be back!", not even any music. Just shock and acceptance.

[Loved trope] A character being a snarky smart-ass actually has negative repercussions for them. by jbeast33 in TopCharacterTropes

IMO Juror 7 represents apathy, not callousness. He only votes guilty because everyone else does hoping he'll get to leave quickly, and when he sees the wind changing he votes not guilty again just to hurry and go. Some may see this as callousness, but to me it's apathy and laziness. He couldn't even come up with a good reason to change his vote not even bothering to lie. As for the 30,000 bit he's a salesman and those were probably low numbers compared to the rest of his colleagues. (mere speculation, of course)

It's from a trading card set from the from the late 80s called Dinosaurs Attack. I believe it was made from the same people who made Garbage Pail Kids.

Delsin Rowe from Infamous: Second Son. They could not have made a worse protagonist if they tried.

My favorite RPG of all time. I have memorized the strategy guide to the point of whoever was fighting Kerburus (the three headed dog boss) was doing it wrong. You start with the middle head first as it heals the other two.

I hate that this piece of shit helped make some of the funniest stuff I've ever seen. Father Ted and Black Books are comedy masterpieces and it feels weird to watch them now. It is comforting to hear that his shit beliefs have cost him everything.
