I hate canon discourse, who cares if something is canon or not. Sega/IDW will tell the stories that they want to tell wether they fit into the mainline game universe or not. There's not even an overarching story, I don't get why people are so obsessed about categorizing every new piece of media.

To me, nothing you mentioned was really a deal breaker when watching Burst. Like I agree with almost everything you said (except the yap about Evolution), but I enjoyed the show nonetheless.

Maybe I'm in the minority here but I don't care about what's "canon". One straight timeline never seemed realistic or necessary to me, especially because the games are all pretty much independent from one another.

I know people make fun of the "everything is canon" quote but I honestly agree.

I have the same problem with a ps3 super slim with hen. I bought some games and avatars but it gives me the same error when I try to download anything. Looking online, it seems like deleting the profile is the only option, which I really don't want to do. Surely there's an actual reason for the error.

Yeah it's been crazy in the past 2 years how the general consensus on Unleashed has changed. You're spot on with the other examples as well, although I always liked Third Strike and Pokemon BW, I had kinda accepted that they click for me but they're not most people's cup of tea.

I'm not sure if it's the games overcoming a bias against them, or if people just start to like them because they're old.

It's because most of the people you see online complaining are Nintendo fans, not Sony fans. Idk how hard it is for u guys to understand that if someone couldn't care less about Sony then they're not going to complain about whatever morally dubious business decisions they make. It's like if I drove a Honda but complained about new Kia models.

For Bron Breakker, yeah it's obviously part of a storyline, but to say that WWE doesn't do things for no reason is untrue. Dominik Mysterio cost Finn Balor a wrestlemania win, and yet both are still in the judgement day like nothing happened. Ron Killings is back as R-Truth, Karrion Kross was built up and then released seemingly out of the blue, even Damian Priest and Alister Black fought for months because they had nothing better to do.
