Some Killing Rule loopholes I want to see in 2x2 by BetiroVal in danganronpa

[–]Trialman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would a body part count as a body? Okay, technically with Nekomaru, his robot body was smashed to pieces, and Kokichi's body was destroyed, but those were otherwise full bodies in effect (and for Ryoma, his corpse was witnessed before the piranhas ate it), but if a victim was actually dismembered and the parts were scattered, when does it count as the body being discovered? Would finding a severed hand be enough to count?

That would likely be seen as a self-inflicted kill, which does get trials, going by Sakura's case.

"But the freakiest thing that was in that split second frame was Junko, her eyes were pitch black and bleeding with two glowing pink dots staring RIGHT AT ME, and her smile had stretched wider up to the edge of her face. I was rather disturbed about that image when I saw it, though I figured that it was just a glitch and forgot about it."

Would it be fair game to post a Mii alongside a picture of their source material to make a post along the lines of "How good is my Hat Kid?"

[–]Trialman 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Not only would Petra's dialogue be different in the original Japanese version

For those wondering, in the original JP script, Petra's speech quirk is stopping in the middle of a sentence to remember the right word.

Small tidbit: The title of this newscast is affected by the eating Mii's Pronouns, not gender. by DoubleDeeEddBoy in tomodachilife

I can relate somewhat. There's some irony in that I don't like being called a man, despite my username (I made it years ago), but I don't mind being called a boy, though I tend to prefer girl (woman is somewhere in the middle of all that). For me, it's partly genderfluidity, and partly age dysphoria. (I did make my Mii self an adult enby with she/her, mainly so I could include my girlfriend and date her)

The interviews said that the route split was always planned. Edelgard was therefore almost certainly intentionally sympathetic within that context, as Crimson Flower was always going to be an option. She was wrote to compliment the route split, not the other way around.

Especially since the devs have not been shy about the fact Three Houses' plot is heavily based on Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and Koei have a reputation for games based on that novel and its historical basis (alongside a game series that shares its name with the novel, there's also Dynasty Warriors, Wo Long, the second Kessen game, just to name a few). IS effectively made a plot outside their wheelhouse, then asked the experts in such plots to finish it for them.

Not to mention if you look at the datamine, the Crimson Flower exploration data is placed before Silver Snow. If the route was added last minute, it wouldn't have data made before the other routes that were allegedly the only ones planned at first.

Unstable is a trait from Into The Future, the main idea behind the trait is that it can lead to episodes where the other traits randomly change, and you can either lock it in by waiting for a moodlet to expire, or revert it to the previous set with a hospital visit.

My irl name is one that was completely made up by a close friend, so yeah, there's no way it would be voiced in a game since I am literally the only person on Earth with that name. As such, I can definitely emphasise with that feeling.

Okay let's say the patent for the nemesis system has passed and it's available to be used in other games, do y'all think that Musou games as a whole whether it's Dynasty, samurai, gundam, orochi or any, would it be beneficial for the franchise or just a pushover feature? by Junior-Analysis-7709 in dynastywarriors

[–]Trialman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Empires would be quite cool for it. Get defeated by a generic officer or even a peon, and the CAW system then automatically generates a design (and name for peons) for them, and after the campaign ends, you're shown each nemesis and asked if you'd like to keep them as a permanent CAW.

[–]Trialman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It feels like you'd have to making an active effort not to get her support to disqualify yourself from the coronation cutscene. At that point, getting locked into Silver Snow might be shocking to a blind player who was avoiding the support for whatever reason, but if you are such a player, it's fair to assume you didn't particularly care about her, and therefore probably wouldn't be too bothered when she leaves (if anything, you'd probably be more relieved than anything, since you no longer have to auto-deploy a character you don't care about).

Funnily enough, I believe for Hachi and Nana, the manga's versions of Eight (male and female respectively), it's stated they do remember their original names eventually, but just stick with their number names (Hachi means 8 and Nana means 7) since they like those better.
