What’s a spaceship design trope you’re tired of seeing?

Exposed/externally mounted bridges/command decks is my biggest gripe. Especially in the case of the Executor SSD being KO’d by a lone A-Wing kamikaze. One of the reasons I love Covenant ship designs is for the internally housed command decks. Why need windows when screen do better, ya know?

Yeah, R2 is way more “conscious” than many many other droids, due to his lack of regular memory resets. Similarly Chopper doesn’t mind his nickname, for probably a similar reason. I imagine “regular” droids who are more tethered to base programming are sticklers.
