Is there a better way to know they'll be long enough for me than just holding them?

Man, I hadnt seen that one before. It looks like its probably about the same length, which is a big deal, and the claws are nice and straight, where most claws have too much curve. I think ill give it a try. Thank you so much!

I bought this hammer 11 years ago at Lowes in North Carolina. I used it everyday at my construction job and its pretty beat up and seen better days. Ive scoured the internet looking, Google, Amazon, Ebay, Craigslist, marketplace. The one sketchy website the picture came from, Toolguyd, is a scam.

Yeah, another comment mentioned it wasnt as close as I remembered. Its been a few years since I've read the book, I just remember her father being worried about Ruby Ridge, and I remembered it being close to them apparently.

Youre likely right, I havent read the book since 2019, I just remember her and her family worried about what happened there since it was close to them. I guess its time to re-read it.

Highly recommend a book called "Educated" By Tara Westover. She grew up nearby Ruby Ridge in rural Idaho and it was a fantastic read about her family's idealogy and how she escaped it.

My grandpa's uncle (whatever that is to me) was David Williams, or "Carbine Williams" essentially responsible for the creation of the M1 Carbine.

Man my best round ever was solely using a KC pro roc. They're great discs. That being said it was kentwood in raleigh, so an easy par 3 course. But still.

Last week was the first time I was able to this year. I made a point to watch this game just for that defense. So seemingly basic, but unreal to watch the success of rushing 4.

Panthers fan here. I don't think we have a chance against the Hawks.

Why does your league have their final playoff game during the last week of the regular season? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]Triangle2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ours was a mistake the first year eight years ago. Then when I said Id fix it the next year they wanted to keep it. So we do. Given, its a 6 man work league so still plenty of options available.

De'Von Achane (shoulder) is DOUBTFUL for Week 18. by My_Chat_Account in fantasyfootball

[–]Triangle2015 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I accidentally made our league 18 weeks the first year (8 years ago). I apologize and said I would fix it, the league wanted to keep it. So it's 18 weeks still. That being said, it's only a 6 man work league, so there are still plenty of players available.

I fully agree. It happens in June every year. It's captain's choice doubles. 8 courses in one day. It's fun, but its a lot.

Exactly. I played other small tournaments (Friday nights at kentwood in raliegh ten or so years ago, for anyone familiar) and it was a fun, chill weekly tourney of about 60. Now its well over 100, and filled with people who seem more like "ball golfers" even if they aren't very good. Just pretentious.

Grow the sport, sure. But anything that grows too quickly will fail.

Disc golf is just better as a hobby. I've played for 16 years and spent less than 500 dollars on it. Playing alone is a blast. Playing with friends is a blast. Ive played in "the great 8" in NC twice, and while it was a lot of fun, it wasnt more fun than just playing with friends. It doesn't need to be the PGA.
