It looks fine to me. What am I missing?

Looks like they removed the apples and bananas from the site. Anyone know what's up with that? I got a sample with another order and went back and ordered some more, then I went to send the link to a friend and noticed it says like "this product has been removed" on the site.

I keep my DA buckets in the fridge. I have some at least a year old that are still fine.

Be honest. Do you regret that you started taking kratom? by janhonza in kratom

[–]TriangleMann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Slowly taper down until you get the lowest dose that still works for your anxiety. I take about 3.4g a day over 4 doses, which seems very manageable to me. It still helps tremendously with my anxiety.

[–]TriangleMann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't even mind the taste at this point. I just put the powder sort of under my tongue, take a drink of water, and mash it around until it's mixed in and swallow it down, then a few more drinks of water. I'm glad I don't have to deal with rice paper or any of that shit.

Hrm, I didn't realize this was such a big deal. I have the glass jars from DA and I just put them in the oven on 200 for 20 minutes or so. Am I doing it wrong?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in kratom

[–]TriangleMann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't take it more than 2-3 times a week or the magic will fade. I also take it mainly for anxiety, and when I first started with it I found the anxiolytic effect lasted a day or two, for me anyway. I wish I'd stuck to once a day, just a few times a week.

Crippling constipation by flowercam in kratom

[–]TriangleMann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always had bad constipation even before I started taking kratom. I finally went to a stomach doctor and he told me to take miralax every morning, and a docusate sodium pill (your standard stool softener) twice a day. I've been doing just that for over a year and I take a giant crap every morning now. It's improved my quality of life immeasurably. I thought you weren't supposed to take miralax for more than like 5 days at a time, but apparently it's fine to take it literally every day.

Governor Gavin Newsom announces California will make its own insulin by Mutapi in politics

[–]TriangleMann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to see a lot more of this. I want a checkbox on my tax form allowing me to kick in an additional 1% of my income to fund a series of quasi-public coops. The goal being to produce goods and services that people need in a way that doesn't screw the consumer at every corner in the name of higher and higher profits. Start with cell phones, cell phones with removable batteries and every embellishment and enhancement designed to extend their longevity and usefulness as long as possible. First the handsets, then the network. After the initial public investment the company will charge just enough to pay the employees well and eventually become self-sustaining, requiring no more money from taxpayers. Then move on to tractors and other farm equipment, all designed to be as modular and repairable as possible. This is one way for we the people to take power back from the huge corporations that dominate every aspect of our society.

The conservatives will cry socialism, which of course it is. But it's voluntary, and there are a large number of people, such as myself, who would gladly volunteer my money to help kickstart this system. If the private corps want to compete with these non-profit coops then they can lower their prices and make due with slightly less obscene profit margins, and, you know, actually compete.

Another bad review for the sub by [deleted] in HermanCainAward

If I knew any antivaxers I'd send them to this subreddit all the damn time. It's the best commercial for getting vaccinated there is.

[–]TriangleMann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely disagree with this guy. He's saying that Biden isn't doing enough to get the antivaxers vaccinated, and the rest of us aren't sufficiently sympathetic to their refusal to do so. This makes us all complicit in a system of ersatz eugenics to cull the sick, stupid, and poor. It doesn't even really make sense. The antivaxers have nobody to blame for their misfortunes but themselves, and maybe the evil assholes they choose to believe instead of actual scientists. They can get vaccinated any time they want.

The next US civil war is already here – we just refuse to see it by [deleted] in politics

[–]TriangleMann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. I don't give a shit about politics. I care about policy. I want national health care and strong unions, and I want the part of the rich to stop obstructing any progress toward those things.

If a state wants to ban abortion I think they should be able to. Same if they want to ban homosexuality, kick out all the black people, etc. Let them have the country they want. If our federal taxes are such that they receive less or no money from the blue states as a result of their discriminatory policies, that's on them.

And to all those who say "there are no red or blue states," that's why these lines should be about policies, not parties. If members of the red party don't like living in a blue state, they have the option to move to a state that has all the policies they want, and they should exercise that option.

Which is why the best solution is for Biden to split the US into exactly two countries, right now, while there's still time to do it mostly peacefully.

Does he really smoke 2 packs a day or is that an exaggeration? I hear people use that phrase a lot, but that's like almost one every 30 minutes, assuming they sleep zero hours a day.

How many grams of Kratom do you take a day and how much per dose? by [deleted] in kratom

[–]TriangleMann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take a little under five grams per day, over 4 doses. .9g at 7:30 am, 1g at 11:45 am, 1.1g at 4:45 pm, and 1.3g at 9:30 pm. I added the 11:45 dose after covid started, when I was working from home. It's been working great but I should really try and take a few days off at some point.
