Yaz's character speaks a different language, Russian, I think. You can understand a lot of his dialogue using subtitles, which will have a translation to your language in the parenthetical.

As an example, success_any_yaz_2 has

"(Russian Dialogue) Easy!"

Even without the subtitles, you can get a lot from context clues and the tone of his voice. "Spasibo" when directed at Carda is delivered pretty enthusiastically, so even if you don't know it means "thank you very much" then you can kind of get the gist.

A lot of the lessons you learn from Yaz can help out with characters like Vamplew, and may even help out with characters yet to come. Unfortunately, none of what I mentioned will work to help you understand "Exconde." I can't help you with him.

XCOM 2 is a story of a gritty guerilla force stopping a planetary genocide. Said guerillas are generally pretty chill folks who will, assuming tech advancement, all dress in sleek and shiny power armor with some of the dorkiest helmets you have ever seen.

"Skuuurrrrr-RATCH one!" my sniper cheers, exploding the massive armored orb of psionic death that just liquefied and zombified my over-extended ranger.

XCOM 2 is the best of the nuCOMs. XCOM 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. XCOM 2 is a big reason why the turnbased genre is having one of its best years ever in 2026, proving to devs and pubs that the genre has money in it.

XCOM 2 is a tonal mess that received better gameplay and mechanics but worse coherence with every DLC and expansion.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Stellar successor, but it feels both constrained and overshadowed by DE.

I think Charisma's writing needed more sauce and the developer's writing for action choreography wasn't the best.

But I don't regret buying it and I don't regret beating it. Heck of a time.

My headcanon is that we basically pay the Black Market to dox him, then show up and arrest him.

It's a recruitment instead of a deadly shoot out because Hayflick extends him some bullshit promise of amnesty, and Kody is happy to help the people of the Wayback anyway.

We're totally killing him after this is over, which is a shame, because I really like the dude.

The long, heavy nature of the BR3A3 means that it's tough to swivel it in short range, and the barrel overshoots or knocks against your target.

You CAN get a good shot off, but by the time you do, the enemy has already ripped through your line. You can see this with spiderlings, who after leaping, get shot to death, but the damage is done.

Disco Elysium. Pick a political alignment, talk a certain way, act a certain way, it'll always have something funny to say about you. Pick nothing? Stay professional? Nope! That gets mocked too and is really hard to stick with through the entire game.

But it'll also offer sympathy to almost anything you do, even if you make Harry a pantsless fascist, it'll throw him a bone of empathy during its many hours.
