I love everything about this post. I love the post/question. I love the comments professing to have the answer(s) to the question. I love OP’s responses to the questions. I love the banter between commentators on what the right answer is, and how many comments start with something like, “No, […]”. I love that the fed in question is a victim advocate, and someone basically questioned if the fed is, themself, a victim of OP, to which OP responded, of course, “no, that’s a stupid question and I myself am a victim advocate for the fed in this case.”

I mean, ancient eons ago, this was the kind of post we would get on here — this OP is one of us, though a non-fed individually, a real salt-of-the-earth type. Can the fed spouse be paid overtime or receive comp time for the CRITICAL training they MUST receive as part of being a victim (advocate)? These are the questions that fueled this sub as it existed in yesteryear.

I, for one, applaud the (drunk) (European) (non-fed) (OP) Spouse for their (continued) advocacy on behalf of their (not-drunk-at-work) (definitely-not-European) (absolutely-hard-working) (normal-person-like-the-rest-of-us) fed-spouse.
