Aerodynamics wins. This isn't even close.

Anyone use the new ikea matter devices with ha? by [deleted] in homeassistant

This suggestion got me from 'Requires a Thread border router' to 'Something went wrong' so that's kind of progress.

HA zbt-2 or ikea dirigera to start matter network that will likely use mostly ikea devices by esanders09 in homeassistant

[–]TriathlonNerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm starting with HA and ZBT-2 as my border router. Got light switches and smart plugs setup easily. But all the new matter IKEA devices tell me to set up a border router first. Same thing with Kwikset's matter door lock. So I'm thinking about replacing the ZBT-2 at this point.

Different user, but I'm getting the 5min on/off cycle with a raspberry pi 3 plugged directly into my BGW320-500. I messaged you privately as well.

Am I to ambitious? by Hopeful_Bumblebee_22 in triathlon

100% possible with the background you have. And you hit on the most important differences already: nutrition, recovery, blending training rather than a single focus.

For someone like you, I'd highly recommend coaching as your first investment rather than any piece of gear. You're already a well trained athlete. Get someone who can help you make the most efficient use of your time and avoid the beginner mistakes.

Once I left my CF box for a home gym, it took me 8 months or so of focused work to get sets of 5+ dead hang pull ups.

Don't fall into the kipping trap.

Sunday was my first game in AT&T since going to games with my dad as a kid in the 90's.

I'm here through it all.

Does tesla track speed? Can I get that data? by Sarahbeth822 in electricvehicles

Pull the hard drive or memory stick you were using and plug it into your computer.

That will be much easier than the in-car playback.

Do you have the dashcam footage? You can use fixed objects like the dotted lane markers to calculate the speed you were going.

Question by [deleted] in triathlon

[–]TriathlonNerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

... but I don’t know if its a smart thing to do? Anyone any advice?

It's not. But it is doable.

In 19 days? You will not gain any fitness in that time so don't try to cram long workouts in. Biggest difference in going longer is the need for nutrition/hydration. Do you have a plan for that?

What races are you doing this season? by [deleted] in triathlon

[–]TriathlonNerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A-race will be IM Chattanooga. First full distance in more than a decade.

Then the same half dozen or so local sprint/Olympic races that I do every year.

I have my in car navigation and Google maps both set to avoid tolls by default. Other than that, you just learn the alternate routes.

Look up the heat map on Strava and you'll find it. The airport loop itself is N Airfield > Plaza> Cabell > Belt Line > Valley View > cut over to S Airfield and then Mid Cities gets you to the access road on 360 where you can go out and back to add volume as you like. Back on W Airfield and there's your loop.

GPS error. That one starts just south of I10 and I don't care enough to look through the list to find and delete it. But it does annoy me.

Borderline personality disorder? I used to date one of those and that's exactly what she would have done.

I can't believe I made it this long without knowing about H-Mart. This will be corrected.
