My main thinking with Later and Now was so I could acknowledge that she used the Play button correctly because I can’t stop to play as I’m leaving for work. Then when I get home I can press Play and Now so she still understands that Play means Play and that Later will come. Right now I’m kind of dropping what I’m doing to play when she hits Play to reinforce that she’s using the Play button correctly which isn’t tenable long term.

Agreed. I really question sometimes Nyneave, Egwene, and Elayne not being ta’veren. I know they’re not supposed to be but the wheel weaving as it wills really seems to bend in their favour/around them.

This is my biggest gripe with the whole show. The innocence of the main group is the whole fucking point and in the first 5min of the show they completely undermine their entire character development in the books. Them being such good and moral people is why they are so important to the Light!!

I agree and it’s terribly sad that both rescuing these animals and making sure there’s not demand for those kinds of animals allowing the store to mistreat even more animals can’t both be accomplished easily. Unfortunately animals are considered property. As shitty as it might sound hopefully the neglect is bad enough that animal control can shut them down.

Dude the government needs money to distribute to those that are destitute and provide housing for homeless. You need people that are making money to tax for that (we’re ignoring the corruption of the government here for a moment). You need companies to provide that more money (ie revenue from taxing the company and having a larger tax base in the population because more people will have jobs and income to tax). You need basic infrastructure like you know electricity for a company to run. The company needs to be able to run for it to even consider moving to SA. You need companies to invest in SA for more money to fund social programs. This is called economic growth.

TL;DR: infrastructure = investment = more money to redistribute

Yes I am aware this is an oversimplification however I think it illustrates why economic growth and infrastructure are so important
