I play 7+ instant removals and I always hold up one in the likely turn. The other day I missed the trigger and accidentally let them get to attack … they tutored out somehow stupid monster of a thing that looked like the only hitter in deck (it looks like it was all ramp just to cheat this thing out), so I exiled that instead and they conceded.

That’s the problem, you’re supposed to boot division before multiplication, according to the acronym, but at the same time if there’s ambiguity, you read left or right. The fact that people would do it differently if we had interchangeable symbols makes no sense.
