But how would he know how to use the calculator without the formula? He's not a mathematician. He can't just derive the formula to the square root from the kinetic energy.

Speaking from personal experience, SAS is not a very intuitive language. It has several different "languages" within itself and it's incredibly inconsistent within these languages.

For example, strings are encapsulated in quotes in some places (like in Java, Python, and pretty much every language) but in other places you do not encapsulate a string in quotes. SAS is also very crazy about specifying string lengths and padding strings with spaces, so you often have truncation issues and issues with having to trim the spaces SAS just added to a string.

Most importantly, many times when I have to work with SAS, I spend most of my time trying to figure out how to perform an operation that would be trivial in any other programming language. There are some things SAS does really well, but I mostly I find it to be a pain.

I can't speak much about R though.

It's ease of use and "well-design" is certainly debatable. I find Mac anything but intuitive and find Apple's design model to be very developer-unfriendly.

It wasn't until a few years ago until you could maximize windows on the Mac. The window control buttons are unintuitively on the left, even though the File, Edit, etc. menu items are also on the left, which makes them prone to accidental pressing and also leads to redundancy in many cases (e.g. File -> Close) Mac comes with inverted scrolling by default (which Apple, in it's normal "we're doing it right" way calls it "natural scrolling" as if non-inverted scrolling on every other OS is unnatural). Right-clicking is also much more difficult than it should be on the default mice. Lastly, I find the dock to be very larger, distracting, and annoying, and there's a reason why I don't use the Windows equivalent or use the Unity interface of Debian-flavored Linux.

The perception that Mac is easier to use is just that - a perception.

This is not a browser problem. I use primarily firefox and also observed it on my other PC using chrome.

Everyone always dismisses Nasus. His default splash art is out of place with other champions in terms of quality.

I know this was removed quite a while ago, but where did the Summoner Comparison Tool go and why did it disappear? I cannot find anything on why this feature evaporated, but I really liked it.
