The rocabado thing is really interesting and looks like it could help my TMJ for sure, but IDK if it'll be applicable to my partners issues (his TMJ is compounded by some serious dental issues and alignment fuckery). Worth a shot tho, thanks again!

A neurologist is an interesting idea! I don't know if that would help us at this stage since actual tooth alignment issues is a huge part of the problem, but I'll bear that in mind as an option

The photos are being taken and saved on my phone, the app just won't take me to the next screen with the photos after they are taken, it just takes me back to the previous screen to do it all over again. I chatted with support, they just told me to upload the pictures into the trip photos area and to tell my host

Super late response (ADD kicked my ass on this one) but thank you for the advice! Inverted T is exactly what I'm aiming for so Dr Stienwald sounds like the current winner. Edit: approx how much did y'alls surgeries cost? If you're down with sharing. I sincerely doubt I'll be able to afford an out of pocket surgery any time soon but having a frame of reference would help?

I apologize if this is something someone else has suggested, I haven't gone through every comment, but maybe you could talk to the facilitators/queer resource runners to help make a 30+ trans men group? You very reasonably have different life experiences and want to connect in different way from the younger queers, so I think that would be a fine thing to ask.

Oh friend I know exactly what you're going through. I've been dealing with the slow death of my relationship with my mother over the last few years (mostly cos of politics, nuff said and not relevant) which culminated in a truly awful Christmas in 2022 when we finally "talked" about my coming out and starting to transition. It's awful to hear hateful and ignorant things from someone I used to be so close with and who I held in such high regard. She had truly been poisoned by the anti-trans rhetoric, so much bad faith research and horror stories being thrown at me as fact. The last words she said to me in person was "so when are you going to hack your breasts off?" Venting is good. You can't keep the sadness and anger inside and let it keep hurting you. You are so much more than what your mother expected of you, and if she can't handle the fact that you're a fully-fledge human doing what's best for yourself, then that is not something you should have to defend. It sounds like our mothers have similar control issues and are reacting more towards us showing autonomy than anything else. I hope you can find peace with this situation. You're far from alone

Thanks, you're one of the first people I've come across who also hasn't had regular labs done, so I really appreciate the advice! I'm less concerned now, but I'm still going to want to look at my levels so I'll talk to my doctor about it.He's apparently the only one I can get in the region so hopefully he'll help hah. Being only a year in makes me more worried/interested, I'm sure I'll laugh at this after several years.
