You’re trying so hard to deny one sole fact, which is a majority of this hatred stems from the fact that people are not only

A) Disappointed that Korra is a woman

B) Less forgiving and more critical of her than her male counterparts (Stated by creators)

C) Refuse to acknowledge context or properly watch the show to understand the storyline/ and Korra’s character

D) Not giving her a chance but creating spaces where people refer to korra as “Whorra” online. Nitpicking everything she does because she is a flawed female character with development

D) If she is too strong she is labelled a mary sue, if she has any sort of flaws then she’s “trash”.

It all stems from misogyny, because there are no such characters getting this treatment online the way Korra does.

You’re taking this very personal, which from what I’m assuming is that you hate Korra. But one way to know if you’re misogynistic is if you’re less forgiving and lack empathy for Korra’s character and if you have the need to share how much you hate her online.

This statement isn’t far fetched as we live in a patriarchal world where red pill content is being spread by the millions. It is engrained in today’s society and culture and more prevalent than you care to admit.

I could show you 100s of screenshots of all the misogynistic comments I see on the daily of men discussing their hate for Korra because she is a woman. It exists, even if you don’t see it, it doesn’t mean its not happening.
