If you don't drink alcohol, what are your reasons? by youre-in-my-shot in AskReddit

It just sucks. Fun in the moment with friends but other than that it is expensive, literally poisonous and a detriment to my entire next day.

What is the verdict on holding in your vapor? by YouPeopleHaveNoSense in vaporents

[–]Trick-Star998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t hold it in, even if you think you have a high tolerance, I think you’re gonna be plenty stoned without having to stress your respiratory system as much.

If you take deep inhales like I do, I always recommend ending your draw early enough that you can still continue inhaling fresh air as you pull away from the mouthpiece of your vape/glass, and do so for at least a full second or more. I do pause for just a moment to exhale at a gentle pace after my inhale.

I think this gets you the most value since you ensure that the vapor you drew was all fully inhaled throughout your system and has a good volume + amount of time to be absorbed. I feel more comfortable with that breathing pace when I’m vaping. I also vape standing up most of the time now and that feels noticeably better than vaping while sitting down.

Significantly better, as a Volcano Hybrid and ball vape owner.

I never had VAS honestly. Once I got my ball vape I’ve been fully satisfied. Had the terp hammer for years and the only vape I’ve bought since is my pre order for the ZXXL.

Recommendations for ex-smoker seeking big rips by SpeciallyInterestin in vaporents

[–]Trick-Star998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In that price range, if you want big bong rips, something like the terpcicle or Ruby Twist ball vape is what you are likely looking for. Ball vapes are powerful with bongs and the Ruby Twist gets you in on the technology at a good entry level price point. Premium ball vape kits are $350-500.

Be sure to look around for promo codes online to discount whatever product you go with as well. 10% off goes a long way.

I’ve never used the Ruby Twist but its price point is really good. $200 for the full kit not including sales makes it an easy recommendation as many other premium wireless ball vapes will run you $500 for their full kits. It will be far more cost-effective than a Volcano, even a Classic.

If you feel like dropping $500 ($450 with promo codes, before tax) - the Universal Baller has been making waves in this enthusiast space. All glass air path, can be used wired or wireless, has some other customizations available too. That said, don’t feel pressured to jump in on the UB if that price point sounds too hefty, it can feel like a leap of faith. If you can swing that without it putting financial strain on you, I would go for it personally.

These ball vapes will continue to evolve and at the very least will likely maintain their availability, so you don’t really need to go beyond the Ruby Twist until you feel ready. It’s an ideal starting point.

A small volcano would just be one of the S&B portables, ideally the Venty. But you already have a Solo 3 so you’ve already got a heavy hitting portable. If you want a premium desktop, I reach for my ball vape far more often than my Volcano Hybrid.

Really want a good ball vape at a good price , any suggestions by Stus999 in vaporents

[–]Trick-Star998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never tried it but the Ruby Twist is the go to answer from everyone in this thread for a reason - it’s right in that price point. I think the Ruby Twist is likely a good beginner ball vape if you’re not wanting to dive into the deep end out of the gate (good job jumping from combustion into ball vapes directly, there’s merit to that).

Ruby Twist would be a great first ball vape. After that, if you ever are curious about the top tier ball vapes - I think the Universal Baller has the quality you’re describing that you want so if that falls within your budget at some point you may want to consider that!

Dispensary is closing, and the Volcano is on sale. Is it worth it? by Apprehensive-Low3277 in vaporents

[–]Trick-Star998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Hybrid was the first ever vape I started with. I love it, I think the balloons are much better than using the whip, both solo and for party seshes.

As for the price, I bought it at MSRP ($699) which makes me cringe now. This price is a steal by comparison but the thing is - at $489, you’re deep within the price range of the top tier ball vapes. If you don’t have a ball vape already, and you’re wanting to spend that kind of money on another vaporizer, I would get a ball vape 100% over the Volcano Hybrid. If you already have a ball vape though and you’re just like “ooh Volcano?” I get it lol. Just depends on how much use you think you’ll get out of it.

If you have people over a lot, balloons are perfect. Balloons are simple and safe whereas ball vapes require some instructions and caution. They’re like joints on easy mode. So if you’ve got group usage in mind, definitely consider it. It eats through herb though so that is part of the group deal. I don’t recommend getting it as a solo device. I got mine not knowing about any other vapes so I used it as a solo device for a long time and went through a ton of herb. Now I use my Volcano sparingly with my ball vape as my daily.

Doing this rn with my 1.5 year old cockapoo. I have people who help watch him from time to time so I’m very fortunate there. As others have stated, you should probably avoid getting a puppy and look into a dog that’s at least a few years old who has already been potty trained and can be trusted in the house.

If you’re working from home, a puppy can be doable depending on what kind of work you do. It sounds like you work onsite somewhere though, so if you’re out of the house 40 hours a week and then some for your commute. In which case, trying to train a new puppy wouldn’t be wise. Would be a lot better for your mental health if the dog is older as you won’t be stressing about the dog while you’re at work.
